"What do you mean they stayed behind!?" Tetsuo yelled, balling his apron in his fists.
After a couple days, he only now could remember the events of his rescue. He was now informed of the help from his dear friends— family even.
He felt tears threaten to fall again, but he didn't want to keep crying. He shut his eyes tight and took a deep breath in, before opening them again to glare at everyone around the table.
"Tetsuo, we wanted to wait for you to—" Kanato began to speak, cut-off by an angry Tetsuo.
"Oh, I call bullshit!" He snapped, stomping towards the kitchen. "You all probably just forgot about the two women who just sacrificed themselves for your safety!"
"For your safety, technically." Subaru piped up, having followed him with the others to the kitchen.
"Oh my fucking— You all just don't care!" He said, already marching back towards the stairs. "You all have no hearts!" He continued, throwing his hands up as he was still followed towards his room.
"Well, technically—" Yui shut her mouth at the sharp glare she got from the wolf; getting chills from the tint of red his eyes became. She squeaked an apology and watched in silence as he started rummaging through his closet.
As they saw the wolf grab a bag, Ayato stepped up. "Woah, woah. Where the hell are you going?"
"I want to find out if they're okay. Cause, ya know, I have feelings!" Tetsuo kept on angrily.
"Calm down, okay? You can't just go back to the mansion we just rescued you from. That's suicide." Laito said, grabbing the wolf's arm to make him sit down.
Tetsuo sighed, putting his face in his hands before looking up blankly. "Yeah, I know. I'm sorry for yelling...it's just upsetting." He groaned, thinking of Matthias' grave outside as well.
"Can someone just do me a favor?" He said quietly. "If they're dead...I know those assholes would have only thrown their bodies to the side. If you can find them...I just want to bury them properly." He said, smiling softly at Reiji's sharp nod.
"I'll go with you." Shu said, looking to his younger brother.
"Thank you, both of you." Tetsuo said, standing up with his arms open. He couldn't help but almost laugh at the way the two's eyes lit up, before they glared at the other to not dare hug the wolf first.
"Oh my." Tetsuo mumbled, grabbing Shu and hugging him, planting a kiss to his cheek. Then the doing the same to Reiji.
"I'll write down the way if you all don't remember." Tetsuo said, going towards a notepad on his desk. He grabbed a pen, scribbling down on the paper as Reiji came up behind him.
"Why'd you hug him first?" He asked quietly, peering at the wolf. Tetsuo laughed, pushing the torn off paper to his chest.
"Cause he's cuter." Tetsuo teased. Reiji physically pouted, looking at the wolf, and asking, barely over a whisper, if he really meant it.
Tetsuo sighed, finding the way the vampire could act so immature at times adorable. He cupped the taller males face and smiled softly. "I was only joking. You're adorable."
"Well I don't know about adorable." Reiji stated, blushing and frowning slightly, looking away to adjust his glasses.
Tetsuo chuckled, only half surprised to see the others impatiently waiting for something of their own. Everyone, but Kanato, tried to be casual about it, but it was clearly obvious.
"Hey, Hey. You all know what day it is." Tetsuo said, turning on his heel to exit the room. Subaru smirked triumphantly, waltzing out of the room after the wolf."Come on." Shu walked through the woods, seeing the clearing near the large mansion.
"And why should I be taking orders from you?" Reiji muttered, following the blonde regardless.
"This is the third time you've said this. I'm just gonna stop talking at this point." Shu sighed, rolling his eyes slightly.
"That's what you normally do." Reiji scoffed, pushing past his brother to reach closer to the mansion.
Shu groaned, reaching out and grabbing the others arm. "Look, I know you don't like me very much. I can say, for sure, the feeling is reciprocated. But right now, we just need to get this done, for Tetsuo."
Reiji quickly pulled his arm away, turning back to the mansion. "Whatever. Just don't be an ass around Tetsuo. You know he gets frustrated." Shu continued, trying to be reasonable before searching around the area of the large home.
They picked up an odd scent and sure enough, thrown to the side were Yumeko and Yuno.
"It's sad that Tetsuo was right." Reiji said to himself.
Soon enough, they were back and putting a few flowers from the garden over the newly dug spots.
Tetsuo looked down at them. "Damn that vampire." He muttered before turning to Subaru to clutch onto his arm. "Take me back inside please."
Subaru said nothing, teleporting them inside and immediately lifting the wolf into his arms. He crawled onto the bed, holding the other.
"I don't wanna keep crying." Tetsuo said, his voice cracking. He felt the vampires grip tighten around him.
The wolf quickly looked up at Subaru. "What are you getting worked up about?" He asked quietly, his brows furrowed at the albinos upset face.
"It's nothing. I just want you to be alright." Subaru said honestly, moving the blankets to push Tetsuo under them. "Try taking a nap, okay?"
Tetsuo looked at him, worried yet again that night, before wrapping his arms around the other and simply closing his eyes.
