~ Austin Mahone~
Song of the Chapter: Happy by Pharrell Williams
The Crew let me wash off before pushing me into a car. They put a blindfold on my eyes, not wanting to ruin the surprise for me as to where we are going. All I know is my beautiful girl is seated next to me. Her hand in intertwined with mine, which is a relief. I know I have her to make sure I’m okay.
I think we sat in this car for two good hours, but I had Sierra next to me keeping me company. We even made her sing a bit, which is music to my ears. She’s amazing at it. The rest of The Crew is even taken back by her voice like I was when I heard her sing in the music room. Her voice is like angels.
“We’re here Austin!” I hear Sierra squeal in excitement.
I feel Sierra help me out of the car. They made me bring swim trunks so I figured we were at a place where we could swim. I feel a warm breeze, and I start to catch on to where we are. Most likely a beach.
When Sierra takes off my blindfold, I know I'm right. We are at this beautiful beach and I can already feel this being a good birthday. I look over seeing a smiling Sierra as she stares out onto the beach. I know she's from California so she hasn't seen a beach in a while. I guess she is glad to get out and be at one. We aren't in Texas anymore, that's for sure.
"How long was that drive?" I ask with a chuckle. She looks over a me, a smile still etched onto her face.
"9 hours, but it was worth it. We're staying here for a few days," Sierra says, smiling at me. It's pretty dark out already, so tomorrow we would probably spend the whole day here.
Before I can say anything to her the boys pull me along. They pull me onto the beach, leaving Sierra by the car. I give her an apologetic look, but she shakes her head, understanding. I smile at how amazing she is. She knows this is sort of my days with the boys. But at the same time I'd rather spend my birthday with her. I'd rather spend all my time with her.
The boys pull me towards the bathroom so we can all change into our swim trunks. I immediately do so, not really worrying about Sierra. We're away from San Antonio. We're safe right now. She's safe right now. That's the best birthday present I could ask for.
When I walk back out I see my beautiful girlfriend, sitting in a chair on her phone. She’s already in her bikini, waiting for us boys to come out. I love how comfortable Sierra feels around the boys. She isn’t scared of them. She’s confident. Like the first day I saw her. She walked over to me with such confidence. I could never forget her. She left a mark in my heart.
I never admitted this, but as soon as I laid eyes on her I knew I loved her. But her loving me? I never saw that in return. I thought she’d be another new girl who wouldn’t have given me the time of day because she knew I was trouble. But Sierra… she knew I was different.
She knew I was trouble, but she wasn’t scared of it. She didn’t see it as a threat to her unlike others. She didn’t believe lies. She believed in me. I’m glad she never looked at that disc. I had never felt so relieved in that day. The only disc was that one and it’s gone. It’s out of our lives. The Crew has never felt more relieved to be honest. They were all so happy when I told them. First they were angry, and then they realized she was protecting us. She was protecting me.
I know deep down she still isn’t sure if she believes me when I say I didn’t kill him. But I mean it was I say it. I did not murder that kid. As much as I wanted to, I didn’t. He’s done the most horrible things to people. I’m glad he’s dead.
I watch Sierra’s eyes flicker over to me. A smile appears on her pink lips, making me smile back in return. She’s so… hot. I never use that word, but Sierra… today she looks hot. She’s in this navy bikini that shows off her curves. She’s tan too. When I first met her she was pale, but over time she got tan.
Her hair is in a high ponytail since I know she hates her hair in a bun. She complains about how bad she looks, but she looks adorable with one. Maybe it’s not her strongest hairstyle, but she will always look good in my eyes. Even if she was dressed in baggy clown clothes. She can pull anything off.
Sierra stands up, heading over to me. I watch her curvy body make its way towards me. I can’t help but smile at her. She’s just so beautiful.
She wraps her arms around my neck, mine going around her waist. I pull her to my body softly. I can feel her bare stomach against mine, making my insides twist. Wow. She has an effect on me. She makes me sound like such a girl. But I love it. I love her.
I guess when you love someone it changes you.
“Happy birthday,” she says once again as I look down at her. I smile at how genuine she sounds. I can feel the love in her voice. I can see the love in her eyes. I just love her… I have never felt so happy. When I’m with her, I feel like the luckiest guy in the world. When I’m with her I know nothing can tear us apart. When I’m with her I know I have someone to trust in. When I’m with her no one else matters.
“I love you,” I say as I look down at her. I see the cutest smile appear on her lips, making me feel content.
“I love you too.”
