I walked out into the stage, putting a huge grin on my face. I waved to the audience, making them go wild. I was nervous, but it quickly subsided when I dat down next to Sylvia.
"Hello Oliver!" Silvia exclaims to me
"Hello Sylvia." I say back to her, raising my voice so she could hear me. I was wearing a regular black suit, it was simple. But I thought I looked good.
"Well, I have a ton if questions for you!" She says enthusiastically
"Ask away!" I respond, matching the enthusiasm.
"How are you liking the capitol?" She asks me, it took me a minute to answer. There was so many things I liked about it.
"I love everything here, really. It's so amazing. The luxury here is indescribable. I want to live here forever!" I admit, laughing softly
"I'm sure all the teen girl feel the same way!" She winks, laughing. I laugh along with her but we compose ourselves.
"Second question!" She squeals "What do you miss most about back home?" She says, her tone getting serious.
"I really miss my sister." I say, biting my lip softly.
"Aww, that's sweet." She says.
"Thank you." I say, memories of her flashing through my mind.
"So Oliver, do you think you could win? If you do, what would you do with your winnings?" Sylvia asks, again a huge smile on her face
"I honestly don't know if I could win, there is a lot of competition in this hunger games. So I'm not exactly positive. But if I do somehow win, I'll use my winnings for my sister, she deserves more than she has." I say calmly, tears threatening to spill out if my eyes.
"I really hope your sister is watching this. You truly care for her and I don't think she could get any better brother." Sylvia says sincerely.
"Thank you so much" I smile at her.
"Who stands out most to you?Do you think they are the biggest threat this year? If not, who?" Sylvia asks me. I ponder on this for a little while, almost everyone was a threat.
"I think the person who stands out the most to me is either Nutmeg Dettlaff or Jude Shadow. They both could win, I could tell." I say. Not regretting anything.
"Lastly! Who do you think is the weakest threat?"
"Probably Elizabeth Harbor or Leo Quake. They are slightly insane. Giving me a slight advantage." I say while laughing slightly. Sylvia nods and the buzzer goes off, signaling my time on the stage is up.
"Everyone give it up for Oliver Quinn!" Sylvia yells, and the crowd starts applauding. I walk off the stage, proud if myself.
