Description: Jude is about 6 foot tall he is sort of lanky. His physique is lean and although he doesn't really seem threatening he is still relatively strong. He has grey-blue eyes and short, straight dirty blonde hair. He usually has stubble although he will not have any facial hair for the games.
Personality: Jude is cocky... but he doesn't like to be called cocky so we'll just call him self-confident. He is extremely smart and wanted to be a nuclear engineer before he volunteered for the games. He is good with people and is always flirting. Despite this he has never really been interested in having a girlfriend. He has a terrible temper but has learned to keep it under control and use it as a weapon when he is in a fight.

Family/Back story: The Shadow family was greatly respected throughout district 5, and was also one of the wealthiest families in the district. However, the all changed when Jude's father tried to start and armed rebellion. His plan included having Jude be one of his top combatants. Jude was given weapons and martial arts training starting at a young age and excelled at using his crossbow. When he was 14 he quit his training in order to focus on his studies and has not touched a weapon since. However, this year when Jude's father was caught and publicly executed by the peacekeepers Jude was forced to volunteer for the games in order to save his three sisters and mother the same fate that his father faced. The gamemakers recognized his potential to be a star in the games.
