"May I come in?"
Jungkook chimed while giving two knocks on the door.
"Come in please," a very sweet voice chimed back.
Entering inside the room, Jungkook was momentarily traumatized.
The room was a mess with toys and stuffs scattered here and there.
He groaned.
"Where is the owner of this little messy room?"
"Here," a very small hand poked out from the other side of the bed and waved, letting Jungkook know her whereabouts.
Jungkook walked there with furrowed brows, hands on each side of his hip. Reaching there, he gasped loudly.
"My baby, what are you doing on the floor? You'll catch cold!"
The small girl with long black hair was too concentrated into reading the thing in her hand that she never heard her father's plea.
"Papa, who's Taehyung?"
Taehyung. Taetae.
The name along was enough to make him revisit all the memories. Memories that were both sweet and bitter.
Sweet memories, that belonged to him and his Taetae.
Bitter ones, that made him aware of his Taetae's pain. His loving Taetae had to go through so much pain and he was clueless.
Jungkook smiled bitterly when he remembered how Taehyung made him promise to read the diaries on his twenty fifth birthday.
Jungkook never disobeyed Taehyung and he didn't disobey him then too. He read the diariesexactly on his twenty fifth birthday as soon as the clock struck to twelve.
He read each page and felt the pain building in his heart. He read both diaries and understood what Taehyung and his sister felt for each other.
He cried hard while reading them on his birthday night. He cried so hard but there was no one to lend him a shoulder. He understood then how loneliness felt. He understood how his Taetae felt.
