No one would get how in the name of hell did the Russian enter that club, but he was there, with a bunch of his friends... Well, friends wouldn't exactly be the right word. It was just a bunch of people that he kinda knew, didn't really have time to get to know them all properly. It was Yuuri and Viktor, already drunk and furiously making out, not really caring of the other people staring. There was Mari, Yuuri's sister who was leaving out this cool vibe as she was smoking her cigarette in silence, and the Nishigori couple, who seemed to enjoy their night out, away from the triplets for once. 'We haven't been out on a date since the birth of our twins...' Yuko would say. The teen Russian, however, didn't feel at peace, he felt alone and anxious. Because, unfortunately, he couldn't take him out on a proper date just yet. Because a certain Canadian texted him, saying he is in town. And because of that, he was constantly checking behind him to see if he was being followed, if he was being chased by anyone. Jean-Jacques Leroy, or JJ for short, as everyone would call him, was one of Yuri's rivals, someone he deeply despised, and as much as he wished to face him, he knew the Canadian was dangerous. He didn't want to involve his roommate into this sort of conflict, given the Canadian's fondness for the blond. Of course, he had a fiancee who he was supposedly happy with, but the two of them did have a past together, more or less. And he couldn't deny it, as much as he wished to. God knows, only if the Russian knew exactly who JJ is before he could've gotten involved with the man... But he got to learn from his mistake, what happened was in the past, and he couldn't change that. So most of the hangout was rather uncomfortable for the teenager, given that he felt hunted down, like the prey of a man who can't love, like he was being haunted by the ghosts of the past, like his life could very well go downhill just because of that one man. Because he knew he craved revenge, that he was thirsty for his blood, that he won't stop until he sees him on his knees begging for mercy. He looked around wary for God knows how long, making even Yuuri and Viktor, who didn't pay attention until then, question and worry for the blond.
"Yurio...? Are you alright? Is there something wrong?" the silver haired man asked the teenager, seeing his cautious manner. He shook his head, snapping out of his trance, trying to make up an excuse, or just a response at this point. "Yeah... I'm fine. Great. Awesome." He said, still looking around after someone. No one he knew was around, it would seem. No danger... for now. He let out a sigh of relief, but soon enough he spotted a familiar undercut, the air caught in his throat. 'No... it can't be, can it? What would be the chance?' he told himself, Jean did said he was coming to Japan, but did he really know where they were hanging out to come see him? Or more like come and crash him. "Yurio...? Yurio? YURIO!" the Japanese yelled, seeing the frightened look on his friend's face, gradually concerned at this point. The Russian beauty snapped out of it to look at the dark haired male for a second, his yelling waking him up somehow from that moment of panic that he had for that slight moment. "Wh- yeah. I'm fine." He said, but his expression not changing at all. He was clearly wary of something. Or more like someone. He turned his head to see if the Canadian was still there, but the spot was empty. Was it his mind playing tricks on him? He sure hoped he was worried for nothing, because, at this point, he could end up with nothing in the end once again. Just like the last time he tried to get close to anyone. And Otabek... Otabek didn't deserve to go through that. He wished he could've taken him out with him, but with JJ out there, how could he? Just to have his... whatever him and Otabek were at the moment ruined just like every time? It's true, he didn't care much about the other people leaving out of his life, most of the time, he didn't pay attention to his own relationships, considering that he did not have time for all that nonsense. But with Otabek... It was different. He wished to keep him in his life. Wished him to stay, to have that one special person right next to him. It broke his heart to think of the hurt look on Otabek's face when Yuri told him he can't take him out with them just yet. He didn't mean it like that. But of course, he couldn't explain everything to him. It would be too much, too soon.
