He Asks You To be His Girlfriend

Liam

You and Liam have been going on constant dates together ever since your first kiss. But Liam still hadn't asked you to be his official girlfriend just yet and to be honest it was kind of worrying you. You were beginning to think that he only wanted you around for company but he didn't actually like you enough to become official. 

You laid back in your bed working on your lap top after school. But as stated above, your mind wasn't on your work but on Liam. Hey you were a girl with, well you know, a crush.

You sat up in bed as the doorbell was rung. You made your way to the front door. Opening it you found Liam standing before you.

"Hello." You greeted stepping aside to let him in. He walked through the door awkwardly so that you could not see behind his back.

"Whatcha got there Liam?" You asked trying to peek behind him. He took a step back so that you couldn't see. 

"I want to ask you something." He said walking backwards to your living room.

"Liam, tell me what you have." You demanded trying to look behind your back.

"(Y/N) if you look behind my back you will ruin my plan. Do you want to be asked out? If you look behind my back I won't be able to ask." He plainly states. "Now sit on that couch and close your eyes."

You followed his demands and sat down with your eyes closed. There was a few rustling sounds and then Liam told you to open your eyes. You see next to Liam is a medium sized rectangle with a blanket tossed over it. 

"So (Y/N)," He cleared his throat, clearly looking distressed. 

"Yes Liam?" You smirk, loving his nervousness.

"You're a human, so you've probably already heard all those girly tales about like the nerd being into the popular girl for year's right? Or the popular girl falling for the nerd." Liam clears his throat again and tugs at his collar.

"Liam where are you going with this?" You ask leaning back against the couch.

"What I'm trying to say is, I'm a nerd." Liam's eyes were big as he looked at you wildly.

You bust out laughing. "Yes Liam I know you're a nerd."

His face went a little red. "You've seen Grease 2 Right? Where Michael Carrington is kind of a nerd and then he makes himself into a 'Cool Rider' for Stephanie Zinone?"

"Liam, where are you going with this?" You were beyond confused by Liam's words.

He groaned and gripped his hair. "I'm trying to tell you that I like you." 

"Yes Liam, I know you like me. We've gone on dates, and kissed." You nodded as if you were talking to someone a bit stupid.

"No, I mean. God Damn it." He turns around toward the rectangle and yanks off the blanket, revealing an aquarium with a turtle in it. "Will you be my girlfriend?"

You smiled and stood up to lightly peck Liam's lips. "Of course. Now why did you bring me a turtle?" 

He held you in his arms and looked over at the turtle. "This is Emperor Zurg, or EZ for short."

"As in Buzz Light Years enemy from Toy Story?" You questioned.

He nodded vigorously. "He's the murder turtle. I have a new turtle and I don't want him getting eaten as well and I thought you might be able to reform EZ."
