Good morning, my old pal!
Before I would start telling a craaazy story, I would like you to acknowledge that (pause) WE ARE IN THAILAND!! Omg, it is so nice here, it's warm and the people are so kind to us, even though I do not understand a thing they say (they either speak Thai or English but with a very cute accent :D). Right after we checked in at the reception, we got our rooms, which are also awesome, and the best thing is that we all have separated rooms! One for the parents, one for me and one for Isaac. We also have a beautiful to the ocean, which is crystal clear and is the mixture of green and blue; it's simply entrancing. The environment simply looks like it popped out of my dreams.
Also, there are huge palm trees, they are like 10 meters tall, with their small brown coconuts. Although we just got here, I don't know, like an hour ago, so I haven't seen all of it yet. We are getting ready for breakfast at the moment, but dad is showering (don't understand why he has to shower at night and in the morning altogether), mom is putting on her makeup (why makeup for breakfast????) and Isaac is talking on the phone with her girlfriend, Maya. As much as I hear from next door, they are very happy to hear each other's voice (Although they have seen each other yesterday...I dunno when will I ever understand their behavior) and are sending kisses to each other on the phone like they would never want to and would never stop. Ahhh, lovers...Oh well...
Oh, and I forgot myself; I am laying on my bed and writing into my diary all the thoughts I have in mind (that's kind of weird to write down). Also, as you have read before, I promised you a craaaazy story (*clearing throat for a loooong speech*). Well, here it is; when we got to our plane and it was time for us to sit down, it occurred to us that my ticket was for another seat, not for the one next to my family. Dad was super angry at mom, and mom was extremely angry at herself, and Isaac was angry at them for shouting because he couldn't focus on what Maya was saying on the phone (I know. I know). It was a total mess. Then, surprisingly, I told them:
"Hey dad, mom, I'll be fine by myself, I am not 5 anymore. Just calm down and sit down in your seats. If you really want, I could call you in every hour, so that you can hear my voice and don't have to panic that I died or something." I said, trying to calm them down. But to be honest, I wasn't sure I was calm myself! I have never flown more than 2 cm away from my parents.
"Honey, are you sure? Because if you want me to, I can switch with you, or Isaac!" said mom, but I already knew the answer as I looked into her sad puppy eyes. She did not want to switch with me, she was just being polite.
"No, mom, no need for that. I'll be all fine on my own" I said, gaining some confidence before I took the first step towards my seat, 4 rows away from them.
"Sure? But promise me to write a message every hour! Remember that! And if you need anything, just call me and do not switch off your phone!" said mom, already looking happier.
"But mom, it's a requirement! We have to switch our phone off or..." I said, but I stopped as I saw her look, kind of like "Hanna, you want to have a monologue right here and now? Just shut up and go to your seat!". Mom probably has seen how I played our conversation down in my head (MIND READER!! I knew it!), so she said:
"Ok, whatever, just text me every hour! Have a good flight, and DO NOT TALK TO STRANGERS!!!" said mom waving me away, still worry reflected on her and dad's face.
I stumbled to my row, and as I was about to sit down, I saw a beautiful pair of eyes. I don't know whose was that or if it was even human eyes, but I got totally lost in them. Then, from behind, and an older woman started to push me inwards. I must have stopped just staring at the beautiful boy in front of me. Oh well...
"Oh, I'm so sorry, I was just wondering if this is row 9?" I said with all my confidence I gained, gone.
"Hm? Oh, yes, it's row 9. Which seat is yours?" said the boy with the incredible eyes, smiling at me. Omg, those dimples...
"Uhmm...seat D. is it the one by the window?" I said, also trying to smile, but I guess the result was not the one I expected, according to the worry in the eyes of the God-like boy.
"Are you okay? Do you need to sit down or something? You look pretty pale..." said the boy in my direction. Of course, I was pale, he looked was a total Hollywood movie-star boy! "Oh, by the way, I'm Ethan!" said the boy, reaching out his hands towards me.
"N-Nice to meet you...I'm Hanna," I said shaking his soft palm and staring into the dazzling eyes.
"Uhmm, you should probably come in and have a seat. The plane will start in 2 minutes." said the boy, and I hopped into my seat.
From the minute I sat down, we started talking, and I think we were talking during the whole flight! I learned that his family came to Thailand for Christmas, too. His sister, his mom and himself. I also learned that he is 16 now and lives in Minnesota, like me. His favorite color is green, like the freshly cut grass. He likes Stranger Things, just like me and watched a few episodes of Pretty Little Liars because his sister made him to (I love Pll too, no judging!). He usually plays Minecraft and it looks AWESOME (he showed me OMG). His father left his family when he was 5, so he doesn't really remember him, which made me kind of sad. I couldn't imagine my life without a dad, even though he is kind of annoying sometimes and is kind of bossy. He also told me a lot of things about his friends and family, and I told him a lot of things about Sara and Max, too. I really enjoyed talking to him, it was like I found my true soul mate. He is also incredibly good-looking; curly brown hair, blue eyes and red, puffy lips (yes, I looked at his lips. Where's the matter in that?). I think I really like him, but I don't want to shout it out to the world. Additionally, I wrote a text message to my mom every hour, and she also called me 5 times during the flight, which was kind of distracting due to my conversation with Ethan (<3). She also met him on her way to the bathroom, and I think she likes him too! (yesss mummy, good move!). This was the best flight of my life. Although sadly, I think this was the first and only time we met and had a conversation, even though we live in the same state (sad face).
I'm sorry, diary, but I think I will have to go because Isaac is at the door and is banging and shouting at me that he is starving and wants to murder me if I step between him and his food (Yeah, I know, teenage brothers...just the food and nothing else). What a nice way of going to our first breakfast in (guess where) THAILAND!
