"Heheeee! I'll win, I'll win, you loseeeer!" yelled Isaac to me with excitement as he drove his car with the video controller.
"Hah, I don't think so!" I said in response to his statement. I drove my purple Porche by his blue Ferrari. We drove to the beachy scene, our beautiful cars crashing into each other than bouncing off the trees then back at each other. We were really close to the "Ziel" letters and the trumpet's started off playing the anthem as I got into the final firstly.
"That can't be true! You cheated! You little cheater!" he said as anger rising in him. He never liked me being the first one in any games. He always wanted to win and could never accept others winning
"No, I didn't! Mom, you saw it too, that I didn't cheat, right?" I turned around, looking at mum in the armchair by the window, reading a newspaper.
"Uhum...." she said in an answer. Although I knew she didn't even listen to what I just said, I still fought back for my rights, even if her answer was pretty trifling...
"You see? Mom saw it too! You just can't accept being a loser!" I said into his face, a half smile on mine.
"Okay...you won...but, I will have to eat your cakeeee!" He shouted, running to the dining table, grabbing my plate of sweet cake.
"NO!You already ate yours! Give it back!" I said, trying to take the cake away from him. Unfortunately, he was much taller and stronger than me, so I had no chance of getting back the cake this way. But I had another tactic; mom.
"MOOOOM!!!! Isaac stole my cake!!!" I cried out, to get mom's attention. She ran to us, looking at Isaac than at me with wide eyes.
"Isaac, honey, please give the cake back to your sister." said mom in her usual calming voice. Isaac tossed the cake over to me, then ran upstairs into his room and shut the door closed, loud.
"Look, Hanna, next time be more patient with him. Now he is upstairs and won't come back down, even if it is Christmas Eve. You know that" she said, already walking up the stairs to Isaac's room. Now I was left there, alone, with a piece of cake that I no longer wanted to eat. I sat down on our grey couch. Why does mom have to comfort Isaac while he was the one who told me I was a liar and stole my cake? Why are adults so complicated? I will never understand the answer to this question...
I woke up to a raindrop slowly rolling down my nose. The raindrop stopped on my dry, chappy lips and I quickly parted my lips, leading the raindrop into my mouth. It felt so nice to have some water in my dehydrated body, even if it was a single drop of rain.
I quickly looked around and noticed Ethan curling up beside me. He was still asleep, breathing slowly, constantly. I slowly stood up, careful not to make any noise and walked over to Finn sitting on a grey rock by the sea. He didn't notice me coming, so I guess he was deep in thought.
"Good morning!" I said politely. He jumped a little bit at the surprise of hearing my voice, but then turned around and reciprocated the greeting.
"Good morning Hanna! Why are you up so early? Oh, right, we don't know what time it is...never mind..." He said with a bitter voice, turning back at the ocean, directing his back towards me.
"Uhm, I just noticed that it started raining a little. I think we should take the coconut shells and fill them with rainwater, so we will have some drinkable water." I said to his back.
"Okay," he said, but I know he didn't listen to me. I noticed his sadness pouring from him.
After a few seconds of standing there, I walked over to him and said:
