-Chapter Four-

Percy clutched the blazing sword in his hand, a smile creeping up onto his face. It felt like he was a child again, like reliving the first time he got his sword, that now had a name. Percy grasped the hilt with a renewed energy, the fire didn't even seem to burn Percy's hand. He wasn't really surprised, a flaming magic sword gifted to him by the Primordial of time. In this mythology filled world, the weird was pretty normal.

The Drakon hissed, snapping Percy back to reality. The monster readied its huge paws and struck at Percy almost immediately. He widened his eyes and dodged, narrowly avoiding the strike. Percy steeled his nerves, keeping all his attention onto the fight. Even though he now had an upgraded version of his sword. He still could die with one swipe of the Drakon's claw.

Percy clutched his sword, trying to find an opening at the Drakon. He swiped at the beast cautiously, the Drakon immediately reeled back, as if the sword was something nightmarish. Percy smiled a little, looking at Yorath who was grinning wildly. The two nodded, acting as a well-oiled machine, instantly knowing what to do and when to do it.

Percy charged at the Drakon with Yorath behind him. The monster swiped its claws at Percy, he immediately rolled out of the way, avoiding the attack with ease. Yorath flung his yoyo forward, the yoyo wrapping itself onto the Drakons paw. Yorath pulled the on the string, the paw being sent to the ground. Percy slid towards the paw and drove his sword that was apparently named Firestorm onto the monster's paw.

The Drakon roared in pain, the roar echoing throughout the cave. The two brothers covered their ears in fear of them losing their hearing. The Drakon reeled back its paw, the nearly unbreakable yoyo string coming undone. Yorath shook his head and turned to the Drakon, a look of determination in his eyes. He jumped in the air, the yoyo clutched in his hand.

He let loose the yoyo, his hands performing intricate movements. He seemed to be in pure concentration, his yoyo hitting the Drakon in multiple spots, the air seeming to crack from the sudden movement, like a whip. The Dragon roared again, a bit weak from its open wound and Yorath's constant bombardment. The Drakon retaliated and sent its tail towards Yorath, he widened his eyes, the tail sending him flying.

Percy gritted his teeth, seeing Yorath start flying. To Percy's relief, Yorath catcher himself, preventing any major injuries but still sustaining cuts and bruises. Percy turned to the Drakon, a look of anger in his eyes.

He steeled his nerves as the Drakon looked at Percy with a cautious eye, wary of what Percy was capable of. He turned to his watch, his heartbeat increasing, it felt like his heart was about to burst from his chest. Percy took in a sharp breath and turned towards his watch. Percy pressed a multitude of buttons, as power suddenly flooded the room. The watch glowed a bright green, the object itself slowly getting enveloped in a faint green light, markings of time appearing on the watch itself. The Drakon saw this as a chance to charge, pouncing at Percy and readying its sharp teeth.

Percy snapped his fingers, the Drakon stopping dead in its tracks right as it was about to eat Percy. He clutched the sword in his hand, his grip was tight, adrenaline was coursing through him. Percy turned to the Drakon, it's head was suspended in mid-air, its eyes were wide, mouth was wide open. Percy readied his sword and plunged his sword straight into the Drakon's heart.

Percy immediately followed it up, slashing at the Drakon's head. It came clean off as time suddenly resumed, the head and body falling to the ground, it's now dead carcass burning in a green flame. The smell of burning flesh was in the air, filling Percy's nostrils with a less than desirable smell.

Percy turned to Yorath with a slight smile, a look of pure relief on both the brothers' faces. He gave a thumbs-up to Yorath, along with a small smirk.
