-Chapter Fifteen-

Percy loosened his grip on Firestorm, staring at Yorath across the arena. Yorath had a small smile on his face, his signature yo-yo strapped onto his arm. The crowd cheered with delight as the two brothers stared at each other like they finally found an oasis on a barren desert.

"Now for one of the most awaited fights today!" The announcer's voice boomed as the crowd cheering with excitement and delight. He was dragged out of his musings when he felt the butt of a spear slamming onto his back, shoving him forward rather forcefully.

Percy glared at the guards behind him as they motioned him forward. He grumbled and walked forward as Yorath followed his movements. The crowd went wild as the two fighters approached each other with a cautious step. The two instantly knew how to play the part.

"Two extremely popular gladiators ready to battle to the death! Two people enter, one person leaves!" The announcer shouted in excitement. Percy clutched deactivated Firestorm in his hand as Yorath twirled his signature yo-yo on his hand. The two pretending to intimidate each other right from the get-go.

"Now without further ado, let the fight begin!" He announced as the crowd cheered with vigor and energy. The two brothers circled each other, analyzing each other's stances to see an opening. Of course, this was all for show.

Percy surged forward and sent multiples slow slashes at Yorath to which he avoided easily. He clutched Firestorm and sent a kick to his chest, sending his brother flying and landing onto the ground with a thud.

He ran forward and buried Firestorm beside Yorath's head, making sure that it didn't hit his head and made it look like it missed.

"So what's the plan?" Yorath whispered as he rolled out of the way, regaining his bearings. He clutched his yo-yo and sent it forward, the yo-yo wrapping around Percy's legs. He yanked on the yo-yo string as the eldest son of time was dragged to Yorath.

"No idea honestly," Percy admitted as he untangled himself from the yo-yo string and rolled out of the way. The two circled each other again, proving some needed downtime in between strikes. It provided some rest for the two and provided as a sort of cover. The audience would think that they were simply trying to readjust themselves.

"You have the vials?" Percy whispered, clutching Firestorm and circling Yorath. Adjusting his body language to look as if he was waiting for an opening to strike.

Yorath stood rooted to the spot with a defensive stance, his yo-yo twirling at his side, ready to attack.

"I do. Do you plan on jumping right now?" Yorath asked, readying his yo-yo.

"That would be the plan. I still have a few more minutes until I can make a jump though." Percy stated as Yorath nodded slowly.

"So stall?" He questioned.

"Indeed," Percy confirmed as a yo-yo came barreling towards him at rather frightening speeds. He avoided the yo-yo rather easily and stared at Yorath with a glare. He gave a sheepish smile as the two brothers circled each other, ready to stall the match as long as possible.

Percy clutched Firestorm and sent multiple slashes at him. He made sure that Yorath would be able to avoid it but made sure that it looked like there was at least some effort put into the strikes. Yorath jumped to the side, avoiding the slashes with ease, and twirled his yo-yo in anticipation.

Yorath sent a simple strike of his yo-yo towards Percy, readying himself to dodge. He tried jumping out of the way and found that his legs didn't seem to cooperate. The yo-yo hit him square in the chest, sending him tumbling face-first onto the ground. Yorath winced, looking at Percy with an apologetic look.
