-Chapter Seventeen-Percy clutched the deactivated Firestorm in his hands, staring up at the dark sky. Even though it looked like night, the sky felt sick, felt ill. It was like there was a plague that infected the whole world that even its atmosphere reacted to it. He loosened his grip on Firestorm and sheathed it back, peeking around the alleyway to see if there were any incoming titans.
He left the alleyway, strolling through the city like it was normal. All he had to do was wait for a titan to spot him. Then the two could enact their plan. Percy glanced behind him, checking to see if any titans saw him. He was alone.
"I told you to leave." A voice called out, snapping Percy from his musings. Speak of the devil.
He glanced behind him, seeing Hyperion holding his signature sword that was shining weakly. He guessed it was in its dormant state.
"Or would you like me to repeat again?" He warned. Percy merely stood straight, looking at the titan straight in the eye, not even bothering to speak. The titan of light growled, clutching his sword in his hand.
"So be it," Hyperion growled and charged Percy with a fast attack that he almost got hit. The son of time rolled out of the way, the titan's sword embedding itself onto the ground. He turned towards Percy with a confused glance, a growl escaping his mouth.
"Oh, you are going to die you little shit." He cursed out, grabbing his sword and running towards Percy. He dashed out of the way, running throughout the area, trying to dodge the attacks of the titan of light.
Hyperion slashed at Percy, intending to decapitate him in one swipe. The attack missed as the son of time avoided the slash and kept running, making Hyperion sprint to catch up to Percy. Hyperion disappeared in a flash as the son of time looked around in confusion. A flash of light appeared behind him as a sword came barreling towards the eldest son of time. He ducked, the strike barely missing him.
He dashed out of the way as Hyperion chased back in annoyance.
"Stop running. You're only delaying the inevitable." Hyperion shouted as Percy kept sprinting, trying to keep as much distance between him and the titan of light. Percy turned towards an alleyway, intending to lose the titan of time again.
He gasped as his legs refused to move, his body falling onto the ground with a thud. He cursed out, rolling up his pant. He cursed again, seeing the green veins running through his leg, making him unable to move.
"Goddamnit, why now." Percy said in frustration as Hyperion rounded the corner, seeing the injured son of time.
"You've finally accepted your fate?" Hyperion mocked.
"Good choice." The titan of light said as he brought down his sword in one strike ready to end it. Percy rolled out of the way, trying to back up in the process.
"You're only going to prolong your suffering, might as well end it now." Hyperion reasoned as Percy's back hit a wall. A dead end.
"Time to die," Hyperion stated, readying his sword for one final strike. A yo-yo wrapped around his body, yanking him away from Percy. The titan grunted in surprise, looking at the yo-yo that wrapped across his body.
"What the-" he spoke out as he was yanked away from Percy. The eldest son of time turned to his leg, trying to move it. To his surprise, it did. He stood up, albeit a bit weakly. He had to control or at least try to control those episodes, he was this close to dying. He approached Hyperion who was struggling against Yorath's yo-yo.
"Unleash me. I'll have your head for this." Hyperion strained out as he struggled against his bonds.
"So what're we going to do now? We got him captured. What's the plan?" Yorath asked. Percy unsheathed Firestorm as Hyperion stared at the blade with a laugh.
