My eyes flickered open and I adjusted to the brightness and let out a silent yawn. I looked around and everyone else was still asleep. I checked my watch and it was seven in the morning. I got up from the couch and stretched my body. I sat back down and a few others woke up. The double doors opened up to see the trolley man again.

He had our breakfast. "What's your name?" I asked randomly. He looked at me and thought for a second. He was deciding on weather to tell me or not. "Well if your going to be serving us breakfast everyday you may as well tell us." I said. He looked at me again and spoke. "Steve." I nodded.

He handed out the breakfast and I didn't bother eating mine. I drank the water and lay back on the couch. For breakfast it was Stale bread with some carrots and seeds. You swear food was running out around here.

After Breakfast about an hour later Janson came in with his bodyguards. "James please come with me." He said. James looked at us and wearily got up. As he passed me I whispered to him. "Good Luck." He looked at and nodded me a thanks. He followed Janson and the door immediately shut again. I wondered how Sarah was doing. I missed her.

Kara began to Violently shake. We stared at her. Foam came out of her mouth. "Help! Someone!" I yelled. She kept shaking violently. A few doctors rushed into the room. They lay her on the table and I couldn't see what they were doing since they blocked my view. She stopped shaking and the Doctors stepped away and her chest was slowly rising up and down. They each grabbed a limb and took her out of the room.

The door closed and we all shared looks. They all started shooting questions at me.

"Where's James?"

"Is he ok?"

"What happened to Kara?"

"Will she live?"

"Will James ever come back?"

"Shut it!" I yelled. They all shut up. "Sorry one at a time, I can't answer them all at once and why ask me?" I asked them. They shrugged. "Your pretty much the brains." Amelia said. "Me? Brains? Pfft please I'm as thick as the wall." I said. "You aren't, you know a lot of stuff we don't know, your smart." Avery said. I looked at her. Well I just lost my memory so...

"Alright Faye what's your question?" I asked. "What's going to happen to Kara and James?" She asked. "Kara, I don't know. James, maybe he's sick? Or maybe there running more tests on him to see what's wrong with him." I said.

"Will Kara live?" Sawyer asked. I looked at him. "If I'm being honest, I don't know." I said. "How do you know all the answers?" Ava asked. I shrugged. "I don't, I just assume stuff and most of the time I'm right." I said. And right now I'm getting bad vibes of this place. "Will they ever come back?" Evan asked. "Maybe, I don't know." I said truthfully.

"What happened to Kara?" Sam asked. I just realised the last three people who asked a question Rarely speak. Including Faye. I shrugged. "I just lost my memories so I don't know." I said.

"Natalie, are we going to die?" Sawyer asked. They all stared at me. I gulped. The truth is I have no idea. "No, we'll be fine once we stick together." I said. They all nodded there heads and that was the end of the questions.

As we all sat in silence lunch came by quickly and Steve came in the room with his Trolley. He handed me my plate and I looked to see more stale bread, some grapes, some peas and water. I'm guessing we're getting stale bread and dried up bacon again tonight.

I drank the water as usual and are the few grapes and left the rest. "You actually ate something." Steve said with joy in his voice. "Like me to spit them out?" I asked. "No,no, it's just a miracle you've ate something." He said. I rolled my eyes.

Everyone finished and he took the food and entered the same code as usual. and slipped his keycard and left. 2358. My favourite person probably here is Steve. He's nice enough I guess. He doesn't have that mean look in his eye or that same fake smile others have. He's just Steve. But I still don't trust anyone in this place. The only person I trust is Sarah.

I slumped down on the couch bored out of my mind. "Wouldn't they let us roam around freely if they wanted to protect us?" I asked. They shrugged. "Keeping us in here so they can keep an eye on us." Evan said. The rest shrugged at him.

I really wish I could go back home. I miss my home. Wherever it was. I checked my watch. It read 6 thirty pm. Dinner was in another hour. I closed my eyes and took a nap.

I woke up with a jolt. I caught my breath and breathed. I looked at my watch. It was nine pm. I calmed down and went over to the table. I opened up the air vent and hauled myself up and closed it again and crawled through. I went back to the room I was looking down at last time and I saw James lying flat down on a table. Nobody else was in the room with him.

His eyes were shut and he was slowly breathing. I opened the vent slowly and peeked my head down. It was clear. I slowly but carefully went down and landed softly on my feet. I went over to James.

He had tubes sticking out of him everywhere. I looked to see what the tubes were doing. My face went pale. He was sick. I kissed him on the forehead and whispered. "Hope you make it through." I looked around once more and saw Kara. She was also flat out on a table. She wasn't breathing. She was dead.

I gasped and put a hand over my mouth. I backed away. My breath quickened. I heard doors opening and I went underneath the vent. I grabbed a chair fast and hauled myself up and closed the vent again. I tried to keep my breath steady and calm. I looked down and saw a girl. Probably my age. I stirred and tried to look at her and I whacked my foot off something. I covered my mouth. She looked up and I ducked away from the holes. I began to crawl away rapidly but as quiet as possible.

I came across Sarah's room and I jumped down onto the table. I went over to Sarah's bed and gently shook her. She stirred and her eyes opened. Her eyes widened and she smiled. "Natalie!" She said. "Sssshhh!" I hushed her. "I'm not supposed to bed in here I came through the vents." I whispered. "Smart." She whispered back. I silently laughed and smiled.

"How are you?" I asked. "Better." She said. "Good." I said. "Natalie when can I go home?" She asked looking at me with her big sad eyes. "I don't know, but hopefully soon." I said. I pulled her into a hug and she hugged me back. "I wish you were my sister, you'd be the best one." She said. I chuckled. "We already are sisters, just sisters from another mister." I said. She laughed and covered her mouth.

I checked my watch. Jesus it was Eleven. "Ok I'm going to go now before someone notices I'm gone, I'll visit at night time ok." I whispered. "Ok she whispered back. "Love you." She said. "Love you too." I whispered back and climbed back up into the vent into my own room. Before I reached there I saw Janson talking to another Doctor. I eavesdropped.

"Alright, so two dead, we still have thirteen More subjects are strongest is most likely Subject A4." He said. "Yes indeed I agree, we should leave her till last." The woman said. "Agreed." He said. "Goodnight Dr Janson." She said. "Goodnight Dr Rodgers." He said and they both went there separate ways.

Something isn't right and I intend to find out.
