After Steve left Janson came in the room. "Alright next up is Faye." He said. We all glanced at Faye and she stood up nervously. "Come on we don't bite." He said. From what I could tell from Faye's Body language she was a shy person. She slowly approached him. "What Happened to James, Amelia, Sawyer and Jake?" She asked raising her voice a little. "We did more tests on them they're badly sick so we're treating them." He said calmly.
To calm. I narrowed my eyes at Janson. "Am I s-sick t-oo?" She stuttered. "We just want to make sure your not." He said. Liar. She gulped and slowly exited the room. The Doors closed and that was the last we would ever see Faye. I would crawl through the vent but there watching us like Hawks which disturbs me.
I looked at Avery and whispered into her ear, "Pass this on four people go under each camera and disable them, I'm one of them." I whispered in her ear. She looked at me for a second and nodded and whispered it to the others. They all nodded there heads and Sam, Evan and Harry went under the other three since I was under the forth one.
I nodded at them and Harry pulled a few wires and the camera that was looking directly at me went off. I did mine next and The one that was looking at Harry went off. Evan and Sam did it at the same time and now all the cameras were shut off.
"Why though?" Harry asked. "So they can't hear or see us." I said smirking. "Natalie.... These are good people and I regret pulling out the camera now, there just testing to see if we're sick." Harry said. I think otherwise.
"I agree." Sam said. "Same." Evan said. I don't know if these are good or bad people but my gut is telling me there 100% Bad. And from what I saw, they seem bad. They all stared at me looking for me to respond. I didn't. I stayed quiet for the rest of the day.
Steve came in with lunch. We were having the usual. Grapes with stale bread and water. I remembered seeing the horrible sight of James. It made my stomach turn upside down. "You don't look so good." Steve said looking at me closely. "I'm fine." I mumbled.
I didn't feel like eating or drinking. "Natalie at least keep hydrated." He said. I stared at him for a long moment and forced the water down my throat. He gave me a smile and I gave him a sad one. The others finished and Steve collected the plates and Entered the code. I watched him do it. 2358 2358 2358 2358 I chanted the numbers in my mind. I decided to take a nap.
I woke up and saw Steve. He handed me the water and I nodded him a thank you. I drank it and handed him back the cup. He didn't bother giving me a plate this time. The were eating slower then usual. I counted in my mind how long it took them. It took them a full forty minutes. "Steve, the cameras are broken." Evan said. You little cunt.
"I'll them right away and they'll come and fix them tomorrow morning, thank you for telling me." He said. He nodded and smirked at me. I narrowed my eyes. He's a dead bastard when I get my hands on him.
"How did they break exactly?" He asked. "Dear old Natalie over there told us to break them." Evan said still a smirk plastered on his face. Steve raised an eyebrow at me. I shrugged. "Well then, goodnight." He said and left us and the lights switched off and we were left in the darkness. Evan is seriously lucky to be alive right now.
As the others fidgeted and twisted and turned to get asleep I waited to nine o'clock my usual time and climbed throw the vents to Sarah's room. She was sitting up in bed waiting patiently. I went over to her and she wrapped her arms around me and I did the same. "Guess what I brought you." I said grinning in the dark. "What?" She asked. I held up a piece of stale bread and grapes. Ava shared her dinner with me so I decided to give it to Sarah as a midnight snack. Sarah gasped and hugged me. "Thank you!" She whisper yelled and ate them. I chuckled as she gulped them down. They must rarely feed them.
"Any news?" I asked. "Well, a girl called Zoey, she's like 7, she got taken today. Where do they go?" She asked. Poor Zoey. "I don't know, but I'm going to find out." I said. I knew exactly where they went but what they want I don't know.
"Can you read me a bedtime story?" She asked. "Sure." I said smiling. Then my smile faded. I don't remember any story's. "Never mind I forgot you lost your memories." She said sucking her thumb. "No I'll make one up." I said. She lay back in bed and get comfy. I thought Hard and came up with one.
"Once lived a beautiful girl named Ella. She was a princess of a kingdom named Far Far away. Ella loved the kingdom with all the nature, birds, houses and stalls. She was happy there but something was missing from her life. She needed to be free. She felt kind of like a prisoner in a way.
She told her parents she was going off on a journey alone and her parents begged for her to have guards with her. But Ella wanted to do this Journey alone. Her parents agreed sadly and she set off out of the kingdom. She set off into the woods and came across a cottage. It was a beautiful cottage. She entered the cottage but what she didn't know was the terrible curse that was set on the cottage.
Legend says an old witch cursed it and whoever entered would come face to face with a horrible ugly beast!" Sarah gasped. "Ella fell in love with the cottage and at midnight that day she decided to stay there till morning and set off again. As she was going to bed she heard growls. Ella got curious and went to investigate. That's when she saw the big bad monster. It was about to kill her until a knight in shining armour came to the rescue and killed the beast.
He had rescued Ella. Then from that day they fell in love and returned to the kingdom and married and had a wonderful family. Ella never set foot out of the castle walls ever again." I said ending it.
I looked down and saw Sarah fast asleep. I smiled and kissed her on the forehead and climbed through the vents again and peeked through the steel bars and peered down and saw Faye. Janson was in a deep conversation with other doctors.
"Alright so Subject C9 has also been a fail. We'll get Subject P5 Tomorrow morning. "Subject A4 is showing good results even tho she's not eating, but we shall save the best till last and hopefully we find all these cures soon enough and I think Subject A4 is the key." He said. My breath quickened and I scrambled back to the room quickly and my heart pounding. I was Subject A4.
