Someone shook my shoulder. I opened my eyes to see a blurry Janson. Eyes widened and I punched him. "Jesus woman!" Aguilar yelled. "Sorry! I thought you were Janson." I said. He held his nose. "Remind me to never wake you up in the morning." He grumbled and started gathering everything.

I stretched out and yawned. I looked up and clouds were covering the sky. It was going to rain. Lovely. I felt drops of rain and Aguilar put his hood up. I didn't have one. Of course I didn't I wouldn't have the god damn brains to bring one. The rain began to drop from the sky. It was drizzling at first and then it just poured down on us. "Looks like it's going to be a wet journey." He said.

"No Shit Sherlock." I said and I followed him through the forest. The leaves got stuck to my shoes and I wriggled them off. Are footsteps were heavy in the wetness and I was freezing my ass off. We Went down a hill and I slipped and regained my balance. I held onto Aguilar for the rest of the way down. I could tell he was smirking. "Shut up." I mumbled and walked on.

We came to a cliff and tree trunk that went to the other side of the cliff. "Let's go." He said approaching it. "Wow, wow, wow! Let's take the safer way around I don't feel like dying today." I said. "Where not going to die buttercup." He said.

"I don't feel like falling about 3000 feet to meet my death." I said. "Come on Buttercup." You'll be fine. I looked at the tree trunk. "Your basically asking me to go on a soaking wet tree trunk over a 3000 feet cliff to the other side." I said. "Pretty much." He said and went onto the tree trunk. I couldn't watch. I shut my eyes and prayed. "Come on Buttercup!" He yelled across the cliff.

How the hell did he get there so quick? It's so long to get across. I slowly stepped onto the tree trunk and gulped. I blessed myself and slowly put one foot in front of the other. My foot slipped and I gripped onto the sides of the trunk. "It's alright you can do this buttercup." He said. I gulped and shakily got up. I went slower this time and nearly fell off going left. I regained my balance and I was half way there.

"Help." I mumbled. "Just take one step at a time alright." He said. I took a breath and nodded. I began walking again carefully and slowly. I was at the other side and I slipped. I screamed and strong arms grabbed me and pulled me up and I hugged him tightly. and panted. "Thank you." I mumbled into his shoulder. "Your welcome Buttercup your safe with me." He said. We heard a snap and the trunk fell. Well there's no going back now.

I eased my grip and I was trembling. "Your safe." He said. I slowly nodded and we walked on. If Aguilar wasn't there I'd be dead by now. We found an old campsite and Aguilar lit the fire and he handed out food. I ate my food slowly and swallowed it with force.

I lay on my back and sighed. Today was a crazy ass day. "You feeling good?" He asked. I nodded. "How much further do we need to travel?" I asked. "Thousands of miles." He replied.

"Lovely." I mumbled and got comfy. "Since its only eight tell me your life story." I said bored. "Alright then Buttercup so first of all my mother had me then I grew up, I eat, sleep go to the toilet and drink. I was captured, escaped and here I am now." He said.

I clapped. "Beautiful." I said wiping away a fake tear. He glared at me and then grinned. "Want to know how I was born?" He asked. "So basically my mom and dad-" I put a finger to his lips. "I don't want to know." I said. He smirked. I narrowed my eyes. He raised his hands up in surrender and I lay back down and looked at the stars. "Well goodnight Buttercup." He said lying on his side.

"Night Cowboy."
