Nothing at all / General Hux X OC

Nothing

For the next 10 days everything seemed the same. I was still working in the same room with the other people, I was still making mistakes and because of that I have received a few slaps from the general,  but I got used to it. Now, any time I was called to his office,  I knew what was coming, so I was not that scared. First, he will slap me in the face, then he will shout at me for doing something wrong, finally , he will say I'm worthless and pathetic.  Basically that's what my every day looked like. But I was getting a bit worried...where the hell is the Resistance? Shouldn't we be fighting them? And to my surprise the day came.

Two ships were facing each other. It was a beautiful sight to see from the side, but when you were on one of those ships...you were scared to death...this could be your last day.

When I got on the main bridge to see the situation we were in I was surprised to see most of the people panicking, except for Hux, he had this weird look on his face , I didn't know if it was sadness that he just lost a couple of his ships or was it anger, that the Resistance shot a few of his ship. Anyway, the situation didn't look good, we were clearly loosing this battle.
I saw a  new squadron of TIE's passing us and I suddenly wanted to be in one of them.. flying... shooting... just being awesome.

After acknowledging the situation on the bridge  I decided that I was not needed here, so I thought I'll  to go check on the landing area...I actually just wanted to look at some ships, maybe I would get to fly one, but Hux wouldn't allow it, I'm sure he wouldn't.

When I got to the place I saw the same chaos that was when I first got here. Stormtroopers running around, ships flying out, to me it seemed beautiful.

"Hey whacha doin' here?"
I heard a familiar voice behind me
"Koji? You here too?" I was surprised to see my friend here
"I'm more surprised that you are here!" He said while giving me a long hug "Oh mY gOodneSS!!! You are a lieutenant!!!" He looked at my uniform
"Yup and I see you are a pilot " I smiled
"Yes , how come you're not? Well i know being a lieutenant is cool and all, but you are a great pilot! Especially with TIE fighters. I still don't know how you can like those things, it's a suicide to fly one! "

"Not, if you know how to properly fly one"  I grinned " I wish i could actually fly one right now..."

"Mate!" Koji was shocked " it's a battle going on and you say you wanna fly one! Well that seems pretty Aja "

We stared at the ships, Koji was surely thinking.

"You know..." he started " If you actually want to fly one you can jump in mine"

My eyes widened

"But what will Hux say?"

"Well lets think what can be the worst part of this..."

"He shouts at me?"

"Maybe kicks you out of The First Order?" He shrugs

"Doesn't sound that bad if you ask me"

"C'mon I think it will be a plus for them if you fly out there. Think of it... you will kick ass and blow up some Resistance stuff"

"Yeah you are right "

I quickly changed into pilot clothes that i found near one of the ships and went to see Koji next to his ship.

"Wait for the other squadon, you will leave with them so that it wouldn't look so suspicious. Because there will still be lots of TIE's flying no one  will notice you and they wont really care of how many of them are actually there, so don't worry. But if they do ask you why you are here, just say there was an error or something,  thats all. Well good luck pal, I hope you'll come back safe and go kick some ass" he higfived me and I jumped into the fighter.

Starting my engine  i lined up with the other TIE's next to the exit.  There's no coming back now. I felt a rush of adrenaline as the ships started to move. I have never flown a ship in a battle,  I have only been in simulators and I did pretty amazing there.

"Hey girl!" I heard on my headphones "I thought i will keep in contact with you during this secret mission, hope you don't mind "

"Nope, not at all Koji"

As I finally flew into open space I was in such joy, how i longed this feeling. Why can't I do this instead of writing documents?

I soon remember that I was indeed in a battle and I can't just fly around doing nothing,  I came here to blow up stuff and so thats what I'll be doing.

Other pilots seemed to fail at hitting the fast Resistance X-wings,  but I was up for the challenge! About 5 minutes into the battle and i have already taken 3 ships out.

"Oh boy! Aja , you are doing great! "

"Thank's,  I am actually trying "

"I remember you saying that you hated killing people,  but by looking at you now...nope...I don't believe it."

"I still don't like killing people, I like destroying machines. It's not my fault that people are sitting in them"

"Of course "

"Hey! Do you think i could blow up one of those bombers?"

"Whaaaaa? You mean you want to do it on your own? ... Holly shit I don't know if that is possible, you are just a small TIE and that is a huge bomber and I'm pretty sure the second you hit  you will be shot by a starfighter."

"Still worth a risk"

"You just want to show off" he teased me

"Hmm...maybe, but i still gonna do it"

Meanwhile on the bridge everyone was watching a scene where a simple TIE figher had already destroyed several starfighters and was now approaching a resistance bomber.

"What kind of mad minded person if piloting that TIE figher!?" Hux asked frustrated
"We will try to see if we can get the pilot's number sir"

General Hux held his breath as he watched how the fighter shot right at the bomber which slowly ,but powerfully exploded. He couldn't believe his eyes, he saw a bomber being destroyed by a group of fighters, but not one. After that the TIE fighter continued to fly around destroying the other resistance ships like it was nothing,  soon only a few Starfighters were left, but the resistance decided to retreat..suddenly the ships disappeared.

"Sir we know the pilot, he is Koji Naarna"

"Send him to my office after he is back "

"AJAAAAA! THAT WAS FREAKING AMAZING!" Koji ran towards me  with his hands spread wide
"Thanks for letting me fly your ship mate " i smile and give him a hug

"I'm sorry " a robot interfered " but general Hux is waiting for you at his office" it said whike looking at Koji

We both look at each other
" That can't  be good" he said
"Why not? "
"Well if he is gonna congratulate on the things you did...i...i just can't except that"
Now I was a bit scared,  Koji will surely say that it was my job and that i was the one to shoot those ships down. I can't imagine his face when he hears that.
