Nothing at all / General Hux X OC

Four hours later ...

The market was crowded and even though it was already dark it didn't seem that people were getting ready to go home. It was quite the opposite, it seemed that that the fun had just started. A few people gave me angry looks, that's why I decided to take my jacket off, they were probably not pleased to see a First Order officer here and I didn't want to get killed because of my uniform.

Nothing actually caught my eye, there were lots of jewellery, lots of scarves, but i was here for the emotion. People shouting deals, colourfull clothes, lots of smells...it all reminded me of home and i took as much as i could from this moment, cause when I get back to our ship, i won't be able to feel it and see it again, I will probably rot in that cold office with Hux.

I got really deep in to the market and when I thought I was lost, I found myself in the main square .  In the middle of it was a huge bonfire and people were happily dancing and singing around it. It looked like some kind of ritual. Eager to find out what it is I scanned the whole square for a friendly looking person and my eyes caught up on an elderly  woman. She was sitting on a chair near a group of musicians. She seemed happy and beaming with joy. A person like that could not do me harm.

I aproached her from her right.

"Excuse me..." I said sweetly, the woman looked at me, still smiling "I don't want to disturb you, but I just wanted to know what is going on here?"

The woman laughed

"Oh girl! I don't know, someone started playing then someone started dancing, someone started a fire and now we have a party." She looked back at the dancing people and clapped her hands to the music " so just sit down honey and enjoy the show. My name is Bani by the way. "  

"Aja Kavos"

"That's nice, so what are you here for?"

"With work..." I answered and hoped that she doesn't ask more

"So where do you work ,girl?"
I bit my lip...should i really say it? But what i forgot was that I was with my uniform,  well at least my pants and that was what Bani was now looking at.

"THE FIRST ORDER!?" She was in shock and now I somehow got a feeling that I'm probably not wanted here."You look nothing like the First Order people, those bastards care nothing more than killing and the first order. You don't belong there!  Look at that sweet face of yours" 

I blushed

"And who are you in that first order?"

"Im a lieutenant... well more of a General's assistant"

"OHHH so the General is here too?" She shrieked "Well than you should be careful,  try not to get yourself shot.  I don't like The First Order, but I hate death more" she  giggled
and handed me a red ornamented scarf "Here, put this around your waste instead of those horrible pants, you don't want people to see that you are from the first order"

"But..but I walked through the whole market in them and nothing happened "

She glanced over to me

"Yeah. And i still wonder how you didn't get killed! "

I took the piece of fabric from her, wrapped it around my waste and it actually turned out to be a pretty nice skirt.

"Thank you"

"It's my pleasure " she smiled

We talked and talked , I told her everything about me and not only about me...about Hux, Koji ...everyone. She told me about her family, about her children, her husband.  I wanted to hear more of her stories, she was a really good speaker, I think that if you would give her the most boring book in the universe,  it would  be still interesting to listen to her.

"I think i should be going" I said when I saw that it was actually getting a bit brighter, I look at my watch" Holly shit! I have been here for four hours!" I started to gather my stuff

"Before you go, Aja, I just want to say . Be careful before leaving, they won't  let you go so easily" Bani's voice sounded serious " They wont miss a chance to kill the general or his officers..."

I looked at her with fear...i hope that wont happen.

"C'mon girl, give me a hug" she smiled, it's so hard to say goodbye when you have just met the person. I ran to her like to my mother, gave her the biggest and the longest hug I could and when i pulled away I could see that she was feeling  the same, her eyes were filled with tears, but she kept on smiling.

"Goodbye..." i whispered and waved my hand while slowly walking  away.
