About another month has past. It was December 20, about 5 days until Christmas. Inuyasha wasn't much confused about it, since Kagome had already explained it to him and Shippo. Aris, Naruto and Roy had a hard time trying to explain it to Sesshomaru, Rin and Jayken. Myõga was who the hell knows where. Tomorrow was the Winter Solstice festival, sadly also the new moon so Inuyasha wasn't going to go. He said so as the gang all sat at Ichiraku's, at Eleven at night. Half the group made a fuss. "Aw why not? C'mon Inuyasha, let loose a little!" Kankuro said. Aris, Gaara and his siblings were spending Christmas here this year. Half of Suna came to share the holiday with Konoha. Since it was winter snow lined the streets and buildings making everyone dress warmly. Haru said nothing just sat there barely eating her ramen. Inuyasha growled. "I said no, that's the end of it." Shikamaru, who's there with the rest of the original rookie 9, sighed. "Don't worry Inuyasha, I don't wanna go either. What a drag." He said with a sigh. "But he has to come, I don't know if he even knows what Christmas is." Ino said. Aris sighed. "He does know Ino, stop making assumptions. He just doesn't want to go to the festival, leave him be." She said. "Yeah but, I thought if he went, Haru would go. She never goes." Sakura said. Naruto glared at Sakura. "Dammit, that's not your business Sakura. If they don't wanna go they don't have to! Stop, trying to make 'em! Believe it!" He said. "Yeah, but I would've have like to see Haru in one of those hot Kimonos." Kiba said. Inuyasha growled at him making him gulp. "Yeah, maybe she's two embarrassed to go. I mean after all, it not any guy is interested in her." Ino said absentmindedly. "Shut up Ino Pig, she is gonna go!" Sakura yelled. "Make me billboard brow. I only said that so she'd try to prove me wrong!" Ino yelled back. Haru slurped up her ramen and slammed the bowl onto the counter braking it. Everyone was silent. Haru stood her bangs hiding her eyes. "I'm not going. End of story. I'll also be locking my home. So don't try to make me." She said coldly. Haru paid Teuchi and Ayame for her ramen and the bowl then left. "Hey Haru! Wait a minute!" Sakura yelled. Haru turned sharply her fox eyes now red as she glared at the pinkette who gasped and hid behind Shikamaru. Haru then left. Inuyasha gazed after her the turned to the Uzumaki's. "It's that time isn't it, The Solstice?" He asked. They nodded knowing what he was talking about. He left running after Haru leaving behind an unfinished bowl of Ramen. Inuyasha got to her home he now shared with and found her in the living room. When he came in she smiled at him, "Hey." Inuyasha sat next to her on her left. "Hey. Are you okay?" He asked. Haru nodded. Inuyasha put his arm around and brought her into a hug. Then she spoke up. "I've wanted to tell them, but I can't. If the council or anyone else found out, I'd get killed. Aris, Naruto, Roy and Gaara found out by accident but they've kept,it a secret. Inuyasha I'm glad I could tell you." He nodded and put his chin on top of her head. They stayed like until her clock struck twelve. Haru sighed and stood up. She looked at Inuyasha and smiled. Then a light surrounded her. Her tails and ears dissapeared. Her hair changed from the roots down, from violet, blue to a dark royal blue. The only thing that didn't change was her eyes, they just weren't slit like a fox's. "You look as beautiful as you always do." He said. Haru giggled. "Are you trying to flirt with me Inuyasha?" She teased. He grinned mischievously. "Is it working?" He asked. Haru laughed, "A little, you naughty boy." She said making him laugh. "Now, can you help me lock up the place. We're spending all of tomorrow in here." Haru said. Inuyasha nodded and helped her lock down the place. Then he went to find Haru locking yo the front door. Inuyasha smirked, snuck up and picked her up bridal style making her squeak in surprise. "Inuyasha!" He just chuckled and carried her to her room. "You know I'm human, not disabled. I can walk." Haru said. Inuyasha grinned. "This is just funner." He said laying her down on her bed. Inuyasha kissed her on the head. "Good night spring flower." Haru giggled at the nickname. "Goodnight puppy dog." Inuyasha scoffed and rolled his eyes then went to his own room to sleep. The next morning Haru made some tea and breakfast. After they ate she surprised Inuyasha..............she had TV. When she turned it on his reaction was this......

It was hilarious. She put a funny movie and they sat together laughing at it. It was a Jeff Dunham show(don't judge me!) and Inuyasha could not stop laughing at it. Later Haru put a movie with romance and adventure. It got to scene where the two main characters were dancing together. Inuyasha pulled Haru up and started dancing with her. "Hey Haru?" She tilted her head at him. "Yeah?" "Can you sing another song?" He asked she smiled and nodded. Are you going to Scarborough Fair? Parsley, Sage, Rosemary and thyme. As Haru finished, the sun set and Inuyasha began to turn human. His eyes turned to a honey brown and his white hair fell out leaving midnight black locks behind. Haru smiled at him, Inuyasha put his forehead against hers as his human emotions hit him like a moving truck, intensifying to the brink. It took everything he had to not show Haru what he felt for her full force. Inuyasha sighed and closed his eyes. "Haru, stay with me. Stay by my side always." He said. Haru furrowed her brow keeping her head on his chest. "Inuyasha." "Please Haru. I need you, right here. I want you to be with me. I want to protect you, and keep you safe in my arms. I want to be there for you, and help you through anything good or bad. I don't want to lose you." He said his grab around her tightening. Haru could feel tears come to her eyes. She could barely believe her human ears. "Inuyasha, what about Kikyo or Kagome?" She asked. Inuyasha sighed. "I know. With either of them I feel torn like I'm gonna be ripped apart. But with you, I feel calm at peace. It's like your a calm gently melody on the breeze. I just want to be with you." He said. Haru smiled. "I want to be with you too." She said burying her face in his chest. I know, you guys want them to say it! Don't worry it's coming trust me! Even I can hardly wait!!
