Lullaby Becomes Known

First weeks past, then about a month, then two, and finally three leading to a few days from April. In that time, Inuyasha and Haru have gotten closer then ever. Sadly much to the displeasure of a few people who won't be named.(I'm sure you guys can guess) But they didn't care. They were always together no matter what. It kinda drove Tsunade and everyone else insane except the Uzumaki's, who were unsurprised they got together, Shippo, who thought they were made for each other, and Gaara who was amused with the whole ordeal. Kurama, begrudgingly, accepted as long as Inuyasha didn't hurt Haru. Right now Inuyasha and Haru were walking home enjoying each others company. Shippo wanted to spend the night with Naruto, so they had the tree to themselves.(Ha! Get it? No? Kay I'll stop)
"Hey Inu, tell me about the Feudal Era?" Haru asked balancing on a beam. Inuyasha put his hand behind his head as they walked.
"Well it's alto different from here. There's no, uh, whatcha call it, technoligee?" He said. Haru giggled.
"It's technology." She corrected.
"Yeah what ever. Anyway, there's demon almost everywhere. Some good some bad, some just fending for themselves. Same with humans. It's hard to be a half demon there. There's this one, his name his Jinenji. He kind guy that was mistreated by the villagers. When we met him, they accused him of eating innocent girls. But he wasn't responsible it was actually another demon. The guy is actually quite harmless. If me and Kagome weren't there, the villagers might of murdered him. But in the end they saw the truth and accepted him, even though it took convincing. Jinenji's a herbalist, we actually went to him to cure Miroku. He's a good friend." Inuyasha said smiling to himself. Haru looked down.
"Do you miss your home?" She asked. Inuyasha saw her sad look and jumped onto beam.
"Yeah I do. But if I did go back, the one thing I'd miss most is you." He said before kissing her. She pulled back and smiled.
"Let's worry about that if and when the time comes. It's getting late, we need to get home." Haru said. Inuyasha gave a goofy grin, and picked her up bridal style and ran, her laughing the whole way. When they got Inuyasha just walked straight to Haru's room and put on the bed then crawled in with her.(Not like you dirty dirty minded people, not yet at least) Inuyasha held her close as she snuggled into his chest.
"Hey Haru?"
"Yes love?"
"Can you sing me a lullaby?" He asked.
"Which one Inuyasha?"
"I....was curious about....that Unknown Lullaby. Could you sing it?" He asked. Haru nodded.
"Sure, maybe you can help me give it a real name." She said taking a deep breath. When she began, Inuyasha was shocked.
Cast away you worries,
My dear
For tomorrow comes a new day.

Nothing to fear
For your dreams are not far
Away.
Inuyasha's eyes widen as the familiar lullaby reached his ears.
As you lay your
Head and you rest

Though the world is cruel

In the darkest days of our lives.

Inuyasha shook, tightening his grip on Haru. Haru looked at him.
"Inuyasha?"
"How......" He muttered.
"How what?" She said sitting up with him. He looked up at her and she gasped. Inuyasha was crying.
"How? How do you know that lullaby? My mother used to sing me that song when I was a child, so how do you know?!" He raised his voice and grabbed Haru's shoulders. She just looked at him, concern written in her face.
"Inuyasha...." She began raising her hands to hold his face.
"I dreamt about that song when I was young. I never knew who it truly belong to, so I sung it every night to find the one it was meant for. I stopped a few years after my mother died. But I guess now I know who it belongs to." Haru finished with a smile and wiped his tears.
"I'm sorry, it's just been so long.....since I heard it. I didn't realize how much I missed it." He said. Haru put her forehead against his.
"It's okay Inuyasha. Remember I promised you, I'll always be her for you, always." She said. Inuyasha smiled and brought her lips to hers.
"And I'll never leave you. You have my word." He said briefly leaving her lips only to capture them again.
Outside the village
Someone stands outside of the village, their lips curled into a malicious grin.
"Interesting. Soon Haru, soon you will suffer immensely." They said with a dark cackle, then they dissapeared. Aris was on the wall watching the dark figure. She heard it's words and narrowed her eyes.
Not on our watch vermin.
Hey! Sorry it took awhile to update! And that the chapter is a bit short. But who the mystery figure? We'll see now won't we! The cast says hi, but they're a bit busy-
Naruto: Hiya!
Me: Except Naruto.
Naruto:Believe it!
Me: You wanna do the disclaimer?

Me: And you know what Gaara and Inuyasha would say about Aris and Haru.
Naruto: (gulps) Lets not go there.
