"Mommy?" asked a young turtle. The little turtle nudged the body of a young woman with raven black hair and half-lidded brown eyes, her wrists were stained scarlet as her breath shallowed.

"Mommy?" repeated the young turtle. Suddenly the doors to the garden opened and a young man came running out dressed in ninja gear with a dagger at his waist, he looked down in horror as he took in the sight of his wife, wrists slashed and his little boy looking at his mother with confusion and fear. "Nooooooo! Tang!" he yelled dropping to his knees and just silently sobbing.

As Tang Shen's chest slowly rose up and down she came to realize that her life was slipping away from her, she then looked at her child and husband, with every fiber of her being she then said: "Oh my beautiful baby boy, I'm so very sorry" she whispered. Hamato Yoshi looked to his wife with wide hopeful eyes as he thought that she could make it through and then Shen said: "My son, make a promise to me, that no matter how bad things get you will always have the courage and be kind to others?" " I promise Mama," the boy said with a whisper,

"Yoshi, take care of our son make sure that he is loving and good and Yoshi I am so sincerely sorry," said Shen with that she drew her final breath and sighed deeply.

Then she was gone.

Tang Hamato (nee'Shen) was gone aged justed 24 years of age.

Hamato Yoshi stood up with big, fat tears falling down his face. He wiped them away with a big, calloused hands.

Then he picked up his son and held him tight against his chest as his tears watered his sons head.
