Leo sat down the dirty, cold floor and started to sob. "Its over, my only chance of freedom gone, I'm so sorry Mama and Papa, I've tried to be everything you wanted but all I've successfully done is make myself miserable".

Downstairs, Anna was straightening her daughter's out so they wouldn't embarrass her in front of the Grand Duke. "Claire, straighten your posture and Fiona smile for God's sake by this time tomorrow you could be the Crown Princess of the kingdom and you look like you have stepped in dog muck" Anna said with a sigh.

Fiona was thinking about her poor brother who was locked up in the disgusting attic, she was quietly thinking about how she could slip away and unlock the door.

The doorbell rang and Anna rushed to open the door and they all curtseyed to Grand Duke Donatello who was escorted by two guards. "Hello Ma'am you may have heard that we have been going door to door looking for Prince Raphael's bride to be by having all eligible people try on this glass slipper" The Duke explained while motioning to the red velvet cushion where the glass slipper say glinting in the sunlight, streaming in through the windows.

Claire squealed with excitement and ran over to the nearest chair and stuck her foot out to try on the slipper, Grand Duke Donatello sighed and motioned for the slipper. As he tried the slipper on Claire's foot, it stuck off the end as her foot was too big. Claire was enraged and tried too push and force her foot into the slipper while screaming at the Grand Duke.  

"Ok thanks Claire I think we should move onto your sister now" The Grand Duke has been screamed at for at least the last twenty-four hours. Claire pushed the Grand Duke off her and stormed off upstairs.

Anna pushed Fiona towards the Grand Duke and she pulled off her sandal and gently put her foot into the slipper and once again the slipper did not fit. Fiona pretended to look upset and stormed off upstairs to go and unlock the door for Leo.
