Leo sunk to his knees. "Leo what is it?" Fiona asked coming to the door. "Dad..d..e..a...d" Leo managed to choke out, "No, No Dad!!" Fiona screamed and held Leo to her chest and rocking him back and forth.
From then time seemed to stop. Anna acted calm and distraught that her husband was dead. In reality she was angry that they would have no more money coming into the house. Unfortunately she blew it all on her daughter's.
Anna was made to let all the servants go, Leo kept in touch with the Bones family, Anna made him a servant in his own home, Fiona tried to help him but when she tried to, she was punished. Leo didn't want to get her into trouble so he told her not to help him. She ignored him.
Leo just held onto the hope that things might get better one day.
