Nobody asked me to write this..but it's been in my head for a while now...I have no shame.

You had awoken to another, gray clouded Tuesday. The small birds outside chirping away and golden rays that peeked through the clouds made their way into your room. To be honest, you were still quite tired as you rubbed you e/c eyes but this was your life now, it was either this or no life at all.

Back when the Pride Troopers first found you, you were young and careless, you didn't care about rules or mistakes, you didn't care what people had thought about you...if they thought anything at all. You had been what they called an 'Evil Imposer' someone who would one day pay the price for there actions. So here you were in your uptown apartment on an unknown planet, waking up early on the weekdays to reinforce justice, this was the price of your actions.

Over the years, you had grown closer to a particular one, Jiren was his name. You had realized early on his sense of Pride and Justice wasn't quite as overwhelming as the others, he hadn't cared about your past or the things you had once done. You had already regretted that life but the others seemed to just push it down upon you, to take the life that you had created for yourself and break it. Jiren hadn't, he was actually quite nice once you got to know him, well as nice as you can get for a crime-fighting alien...

And so here you were now, awoken on that Tuesday to go find him and begin your mission for the day. Slipping on your coat and shoes, you headed out to find him.

The people on the street that morning looked to be rushed, or running away from something or perhaps even someone. You hurried the other way where red dying embers hit the pavement and clouds of smoke drew higher into the air. Screams now started to fill your ears as you began to panic, you weren't sure what to do, you had never actually gotten this close to a real mission, you had only been a patroller, someone to check in and report if anything was wrong. It was now or never, as the smell of death hit your nose, your breathing became held within as you ran as fast as your legs would carry you to the destruction. People were laying on the ground, torn clothes and hair with matted with a red substance, some limping away.

There you saw the culprit, a quite hideous beast in which race you weren't sure, it screamed at a high pitch and laughed manically, obviously proud of its achievement. You ran towards it letting out your own battle cry, voice faltering out of terror or fury, you weren't sure. As your fist connected with its chest it slammed you back into the brick wall, pain clouding your vision you stood, running at it again almost losing your balance, stopping you found yourself now cornered as it began to charge a blast. Thinking fast you ran in the opposite way of the city, it followed still charging up energy.

You couldn't feel your body, you could only hear your jagged breathing and felt the blood drip from the back of your neck where it had scraped against the brick wall. You heard your name or at least thought you did, you stopped, now far enough away where the once patterned cobble streets now a vast wasteland of dry, cracking dirt underneath your feet.

Your name was called again...

"(Y/N)" The voice was deep and sounded hauntingly familiar

As you looked up to see 3 blurry figures in the air, one quite large in build sporting an orange blub of skin, the other next to him quite small, his skin a deep purple in hue,

And the last was grey, rushing towards you at high speed, the blast was charged and red filled your vision.

"(Y/n)!" You heard a scream, a hoarse voice echoing in your ears.

You fell.
