This is honestly horrible but hey, here you go....

The day couldn't possibly be any worse, or so you thought.

From waking up late to work, to a hole in your umbrella as the sky continued to pound down on the earth, to losing your wallet.

What else could you do besides be angry, and sad and miserable?

You had grown up in the overpopulated city, your mother often worked with Bulma Briefs, a fellow scientist and family friend. Due to this you were often stuck watching over her young son, although she insisted it wasn't needed your mother implied otherwise.  Something along the lines of curtesy.

Which is how you got to where you are today, soaked to the bone and standing outside capsule corporation. Your teeth clank against your jaw and you shiver from the wind violently wrapping itself against your body. Bulma would be gone for the next 2 days with your mother, in her place was a neatly written note on the door, her husband was also nowhere in sight.

So you would be stuck with her son for the next two days, the weekend.

Dinner consisted of microwaved ramen and a glass of chocolate milk. It wasn't that you couldn't cook, you were quite a splendid cook or so you were told but it was more so that her son, Trunks insisted on a light meal. Although you were sure he just wanted you out of his hair after finding him coming out for a late night snack at 11:30. You were pretty sure he grabbed every junk food item in the cabinets. With a cheeky smile, he ran back to his room.

Night had fallen faster than you had thought it would, the young boy often left you alone and you were stuck thinking about the day's events.

You felt stupid, how could you not remember your umbrella had a hole, or how on earth did you lose your wallet when it was in your plain sight, and how could you not remember to set your alarm for the next morning. It wasn't the little things that got to you in particular, it was the overwhelming thoughts that you be like this for the rest of your life.

So there you were, crying out a window and allowing the wind to whip against your face making sure your sobs were muffled out.

What if things never got better?

You would be stuck feeling worthless and sad for the rest of your life. You didn't have any friends and life seemed grey, was there truly was no point?

Tears stains streaked across your face like a river, eyes slightly red and your throat raw. You close the window when you hear a sound as if someone landed on the house. At first you thought nothing of it, perhaps it was just a bird or some other flying creature that had just happened to take rest on the roof.

Soon you hear some type of jitter like noise coming from the door, the doorknob begins to slowly creak to left. Unlocking itself and the door peers open.

The darkly lit lounge reveals to men, or so you believed. It your red eyed and distorted mind full of on welcoming thoughts, you just stood there, as did they. Staring back and forth without a word uttered. You finally grab the courage to say something,

"E-excuse me, but you are breaking in. I'm gonna have to call the police."

Your voice grows quieter until the end, where it remains a whisper in the silence. The two beings, as you look at them closer weren't even looking at you, but rather around the house. For something you weren't sure. Until the cat like figure focus' his eyes on you,

"Where's my food."

Not even a question. He just glares at you with a deadly look in his eyes, you fail to respond. This wasn't even your house, and two unknown men broke in and want...food.

How were you suppose to respond? Your heart grows louder in your chest as they move closer, the taller one looks down in to what appeared to be a staff, glowing blue at the top. A frown on his face,

"Oh dear, seems we've come at an inadequate time. This human here is what they call a, 'babysitter'"

The cats face wields an angry look, as he sits himself as a small table in the corner of the room.

"I'm not leaving until I get the human delicacies I was promised."

They both sat there chatting among themselves on when Bulma would be back, and you stood  there, eyes wide. All he wanted was food right? I mean, the day had already been bad enough, all you had to do was cook them food. What could go wrong?

As you snuck off to the kitchen, well you didn't even have to, you were sure they didn't even realize you were still there. You found the cabinets almost completely empty, except for two pancake boxes at the very back. Guess that would have to do.

There were done, two plates full of pancakes stacked like a tower. This was the hard part, presenting them, I mean you didn't even know who these people were, why they came to Bulma house to eat, or if they were dangerous. The increasing groans and angry sighs coming from the lounge only showed you they were growing more impatient, at least the car like creature was.

Balancing the two plates on each hand, a bottle of maple syrup grasped in your pinky. You put the silver on top and, with your heart ready to explode, walk towards them.

"H-here,"

you set them on the table, laying the maple syrup in the middle, head casted downwards.

"There called pancakes, and since you w-were growing more hungry I thought they would be fine. Sorry."

As you begin to walk away, you feel there eyes on you, and you hated yourself for being so shy and quiet. Awkward too. A strong hand grasps you wrist, sharp like claws connect to the skin of your hand.

"What is this stuff," he points and the maple syrup.

You smile ever so slightly,

"It's called maple syrup, although it is pretty sticky. So I would be careful"

And there you go again, sounding like an idiot, atleast to yourself that is. He stares at you for a fleeting second, if you hadn't been looking at him too you wouldn't have caught it.

"Very well. Leave."

He says in a neutral voice, at first you thought he was angry or disappointed until you see the look on his face, he didn't care that you went through the effort to make him food.

He didn't care at all.

You sat by the window in the kitchen, tears dropped from your eyes and you immediately stop them, you were pretty sure your eyes were still red though. The sound of the silverware hitting the plates let you know they were done, after waiting a second you head back into the lounge. To find the taller man who sported the blue skin gone, the window open, and the cat like man in front of it.

You stare for a slight second, and he stares back at you.

"I belive when humans eyes are red that is a sign of distress or sadness, as Whis told me."

You had no idea what he was talking about, and you were sure it showed on your face, but he continued.

"Point being, at least now you know you have some redeeming qualities."

He eyes casted towards the food. Before flying out the window. Yep, flying.

And like always, you just stood there, wondering what had happened and who those people were, but you were sure you wouldn't get an answer anytime soon.
