-Friday Evening-

-6:00PM-

It was an ordinary day, and you didn't mean that in a good way anymore. Every single day everything was the same. You would get up go to work/school and come home to your dark, cold apartment. You had rented this particular apartment out on the west side of the town after your parents had enough of your so called 'moping.'

Your apartment was small, just a single bedroom with grey walls and a couple alleyways behind it. No, it wasn't necessarily a 'safe' part of town and you knew it but it was either this or your parents and you knew both would more than likely not end well. So here you were bringing yourself back to the place of your dreams, that's if dreams were now nightmares and pigs could fly.

TIMESKIP: Saturday, 6:15pm

You had spent your entire day off playing video games and catching up on your favorite shows you had missed, sadly you had forgotten about dinner or any food in general that is. Checking the window from your couch you could see the sun slowly lowering in the sky as rain began to fall. You smiled softly as your remembered why you had moved to this thug infested place to begin with, it was so much clearer out here it the west outskirts than in the busy city where smog covered the sky. Out here you could see the stars so much more clearly and the air felt almost fresh but of course there was that occasional home sickness that came along and knocked you off your path again, it seemed you had gotten so used to the city lights and the people in it that out here where nothing moved but the thugs and homeless animals in the alley ways startled you, it startled you how different this world was then you remembered.

Collecting yourself off your bed and changing into new clothes you grabbed your wallet and raincoat and went to head out the door, making sure to lock it behind you. You were going to head to the little market in the southwest side where people usually gathered for little festivals or some new announcement from the so 'cool and amazing' pride troopers.  Although this one was quite farther from your home than you would have liked it gave you a sense of safety and familiarity then one of those old and dusty rundown shops nearby, so you began walking towards the city feeling the rain softly patter against your face.

As you approached the city square where most of the markets were you saw a little display with quite a few people gathered around it. With it came the sight of black and red and you immediately scoffed, just some more pride troopers wanting some sort of fame. You hadn't really hated them that much you just didn't particularly understand what they were doing besides getting themselves known. As a child you grew up quite fond of them but as you slowly progressed into a teenager you began to understand that no one it the world did something unless it benefited themselves in some sot of back hand way. By then you had come to the conclusion that they didn't really care about protecting the citizens or 'justice' all they really cared about was getting money and in many of there cases you believed fame. But you were not the type of person to so easily hand gratitude to people you didn't believe deserved it. But you also weren't the type of person to call someone out for something you weren't entirely sure of, you had made a fool of yourself doing that too many times that you had learned your lesson.

So you quietly walked past there little crowd of fans with your head down letting the rain drip down your face as you carefully avoided the small puddles that began to grow in the indents of the sidewalk. Walking into the little marketplace you had walked the entire ways to get to, you smiled at the store owner who stood at the front of the counter with a smile. You began to pick out a small meal for yourself consisting of soda/tea/juice and a 12 pack of ramen. ( or some other food you like) You smiled at the store owner as he asked you how your new place was, you had known him since you were small you had always come here as a kid with your friends to grab an ice-cream or small snack. After you finished chatting with the aging man behind the counter you waved him goodbye, it had grown almost completely dark and the street lights had flickered on s the moonlight shone in small puddles.

Most of the crowd had left when you looked back at the little display but the pride troopers remained there chatting amongst themselves. Staring on in what you were sure wasn't a happy face you caught eyes with one, he was on the scrawny side with large ears he had a grin on his face as he looked up with what you believed to be a joke from his comrade. You looked away quickly began to walk down the street, hurrying home.

You could feel eyes on your back, but you knew now that you were no longer in the eyesight of any of the pride troopers. You began to hurry your pace as you didn't dare take a glance behind you, you didn't feel like being robbed tonight or murdered for that case. You began to here footsteps, loud ones belonging to somebody behind you there pace was matching yours. You began to here more and realized there was not one but two people tailing you, your house was close but even if you did get to your house they would know where you lived so you took a small shortcut down an alleyway that led to the outside of your house. As you turned the corner someone grabbed your arms and yanked you back, your heart quickening in fear.

"Bad choice, little girl." A voice sneered out only  inches away from your face, there breath smelled like alcohol and mint.

"Let me go" You coughed out as there grip of your arm tightened, "I said let me go" you say again looking your attacker in the eyes. He pushed you to the ground and with a thud you begin to realize there was nothing you could do. You simply weren't physically strong enough to ward off two fully grown drunk men, at least not by yourself.

With another thud the man behind the one who had pushed you fell to the ground and with another the other man also fell. You began to here some sort of whispering as you looked up, shock instilling your body to stay frozen.

"We'll take the two men into custody, Dyspo make sure the young man/woman makes it home." One voice said in a commanding type authority,

"Yes Sir General." The one called Dyspo replied.

A slim purple hand extended itself in front of you, it took your eyes a second to adjust but after you realized it was the man you had caught eyes with earlier. He offered a small smile and you offered one back grabbing the hand in front of you allowing in to pull you up. The walk back to your house was silent but you felt secure you couldn't quite place it but you had a feeling that maybe not all pride troopers were out for fame and money.  And just maybe life would take you on a different rode than the boring one you had begun to accept. With a sincere smile  you gave Dyspo a hug, as you pulled back to see his blushing face, you laughed. And with four simple words you went inside.

"I'll see you again."
