all my friendships are falling apart and im stressed and im sobbing while im writing this

you watched as your boyfriend ethan ran down the football field. you cheered him on and smiled once he made a touchdown. his pearly white teeth could be seen through his helmet.

he pointed to you, then made a heart shape with his hands. you made one back and continued to watch the game. ethan made you feel so special. he was always putting you before himself and always wanted you to be the happiest you could be.

he was the senior football star. just this year he was offered a full ride scholarship to thee ohio state university in columbus, ohio (rep) to play football. you were more than proud of him along with his family. you always knew he would go far.

the ref blew his whistle meaning the game was over and your school had won yet another game with the help of ethan. you squealed, running down to meet ethan on the field to hug him and congratulate him. you got down the stairs of the bleachers, pushing through the crowds of people to get to your handsome, sweaty boyfriend.

once you found him, you ran to him. his arms engulfed you in a huge hug and he lifted you off the ground. "you did so good baby." you inhaled his scent. even though he just played his ass off in a football game and was extremely sweaty, he still managed to smell so good.

"thanks for coming babe." he placed a small kiss on your neck and set you back down on the ground. "i'll get cleaned up and we can go out to eat, then i'll take you home, yeah?" ethan suggested walking to the locker room.

you smiled and nodded your head. "sounds great."

you waited for ethan to get done getting cleaned up. once he walked out he wore sweatpants and a sweatshirt since the air had become cooler now that he wasn't running. ethan grabbed your hand, leading you to his car. he drove you to your guys' favorite pizza shop to have some pizza and breadsticks.

"i love you." ethan stared at you from across the table while eating his pineapple pizza. you blushed and laughed. "i love you too." the night had ended by ethan driving you home, feeling empty when you got out of the car and went into your house.

once ethan got home, his dad had been standing at the island, staring at the front door as if he was waiting for ethan to come home. ethan furrowed his eyebrows and walked to the opposite side of the island that his dad was on. "whats going on? i didn't break curfew."

his dad looked disappointed. "your coach called." he looked up at ethan sighing. ethan nodded his head, still not sure what was going on. "he said you've been dropping passes and skipping practice." sean looked disappointed in his son. he knew ethan would never do drugs or drink alcohol.

"it was a few times." ethan raised his hand and started to get an attitude. "you'll lose your free ride to college." sean raised his eyebrows and looked at ethan seriously.

ethan started to become mad. "dad, if you're trying to say something, just say it."

"boy you better tell her goodbye."

the truth is, ethan could never tell you goodbye. you had him wrapped around your finger. you were the center of his whole world. his heart belonged to you. that sweet little, beautiful, perfect all american girl.
