long title whoops. my parents left for florida today and i don't go until the 20th. and i've been really emotional all day and idk why.

you sat at the bar inside the club, raking your fingers through your soft locks. you were waiting on your shots from the bartender. "here ya go, my dear." the bartender smiled handing you the platter of small shot glasses.

you mumbled a "thanks" while giving him a small smile. you picked up a shot glass full of green apple liquor and poured it down your throat. the shot glasses had all different color liquors in it, making it look like a rainbow.

you picked up the lemon flavored liquor next, pouring that one done your throat. your throats started to burn and you knew you would regret this later but it wasn't later. it was now. live in the moment.

you were about to take another shot before someone grabbed it and set it back down. "hey there." the boy with blonde hair smiled at you.

you were angry that he took your shot and he wasn't impressive nor smooth. "hi." you spat.

"i'm gavin." he laughs lightly.

"i didn't ask but thanks." you roll your eyes picking up your shot glass. "ooh, a girl who doesn't take shit." he smirks.

"go away. please." you spit. gavin just shakes his head and puts his hands on your waist. "i will kick you in your dick. take your hands off me." you growled.

"no can do, baby girl." he smirked leaning close to your neck.

"get your hands and lips off my girl." you heard your boyfriend, ethan's angry voice behind you. "who are you?" gavin spits. "i'm her boyfriend. she asked you to get your hands off her, so get your hands off her." ethan growls.

"let's go, baby." ethan grabs your arm, dragging you to his car. he opens the passenger's side door and puts you in, buckling your seatbelt and closing the door then running over to the drivers side.

"what were you thinking! what were you doing y/n? i've been calling you and texting you all night, wondering why my girlfriend suddenly just left all the sudden at eleven at night. y/n, i thought something happened to you, baby." ethan started crying.

"i turned my phone off, i don't always need to answer it. sometimes i need some time to myself. i went to the bar so i could drink." you answered, looked straight ahead.

"and how did you plan to get home? not a very wise decision." ethan started the car.

"i don't need to save me every minute of my life, ethan! i don't need saving. i'm an adult. you don't need to babysit me. your aren't my knight and shining...whatever." you got so angry, tears started to form in your eyes.

you sat in silence for awhile, driving back to you and ethans house.

"by the way, i am you're knight and shining whatever." he grabbed your hand, forcing you to hold his.
