you sat in the living room on the lumpy couch. ethan sat on the other side of the couch. you admired his features, smiling at how lucky you were. or at least you thought you were lucky. ethan caught you staring, looking at you and smiled, making your cheeks turn a deep red.

ethan's phone started ringing and vibrating, indicating he was getting a call. your head dropped knowing what was coming. he let out groans that were so unbelievable, he tried to cover up the voice on the other end but he failed miserably. glancing over at the clock you started to get teary eyed, knowing exactly what the call was for.

ethan hung up the phone, sighing a fake sigh. "it's work, baby. they need me. i need to go in." he kissed your head before going over and putting his jacket on.

"i'll see you later, baby. it will only be an hour or two. i'll be back shortly." ethan slightly smiled, kissing your head, again. you smiled back at him. "love you." ethan didn't dare look back at you while talking. "i love you t-" you were cut off when ethan, slammed the door.

your eyes started filling up with hot tears. you knew what was going on and it broke your heart. "mommy?" your two year old daughter came down the stairs. "we're you crying?" she handed you a tissue. she was so oblivious, so pure. "no baby. i had something in my eye. nothings wrong." you smiled, wiping your eyes.

"good, you're too pretty to cry, mommy." she smiled, twirling your soft hair in between her fingers. you smiled at her words, they melted your heart. "wheres daddy?" she furrowed her dark eyebrows. she looked so much like ethan. "he had to go to work. he will be back in a little bit." you ran your fingers through her dark hair that had a little purple end on it. she insisted that since her dad had purple hair, she had to have it too.

ethan bought three day hair dye from sally's and dyed a little end of her hair for her. she was so happy. she loved ethan, looked up to him and admired him so much. "i'm bored." she pouted, laying her head on your chest. "you wanna do makeup?" you asked her. her head immediately perked up. she nodded her head fast.

after doing your daughters makeup to perfection and her trying to do her makeup, you washed her face and yours, taking her to bed. you went downstairs to wait on ethan. you shopped online and watched movies to pass the time. after about a half an hour, ethan walked through the door. "hey baby." ethan walked in taking his jacket off.

you didn't answer him, you just continued to shop online. "how was work?" you asked, not looking at him. "stressful. pretty soon you won't have to worry about this job getting in the way." ethan kissed your cheek. your eyes started welling up with tears. ethan looked at you, furrowing his eyebrows.

"what's wrong, baby?" ethan asked, hugging you. you started crying, sobbing into ethan's chest. "you always say that this is going to be over and that i won't have to worry about it ever again. ethan, i know what's going on. theres another girl. it's not hard to tell. you never take your shirt off because you're afraid i'll see the hickeys, you smell like perfume, your hair is always messed up, your lips are swollen, you smell like sex, you always hide your phone. its not hard to tell." you sobbed

ethan's eyes went wide. "i-i'm so sorry."

"you aren't. why would you tear our family apart like this? just know, i don't have to live this way." you cried. "y/n, baby i love you. i'm an idiot. i know baby. i'm so sorry." ethan was now crying.

"it's too much pain to have to bare, to love a man you have to share." you sobbed violently.

"im so sorry, you and teagan are my everything. baby, you give me everything i need. i don't deserve you. i know, you're the only thing thats holding this family together. she's nothing to me." ethan sobbed.

"then why don't you stay?"
