i'm coming up with many good ideas right now. update, i don't remember if i had any homework this weekend or not.
OH AND GUYS GET YA SELF A MAN THAT WILL SPOIL YOU ON VALENTINE's DAY.💫
you were sitting at the head table of you and your newly wedded husband, ethan's wedding reception. ethan glanced over at you, eyes almost in the shape of a heart as he stared at his one true love.
he smiled a wide smile. "god, i love you." he pecked your lips. "i love you more." you caressed his cheek. ethan's best man, who was grayson stood up, clinking a metal spoon to his wine glass harshly.
"please don't break that." ethan pinched the bridge of his nose.
"i've got this." grayson held out his hand.
"my twin brother here, would like to say a few words to his new wife and my lovely sister-in-law. so take it away, ethan!" grayson cheered, handing ethan the microphone.
"yeah, thanks gray." ethan made a weird face at his brother who had a goofass smile plastered on his face, sitting down beside him.
ethan looked down at you, before smiling a bright smile. he laughed a bit and mumbled, "hi beautiful." everyone awed at ethan as he blushed.
"first off, in not good at these things so bare with me." ethan raised his eyebrows. everyone laughed as ethan took a sip of his wine.
"second off, look at my baby! whoo, that's my baby. go baby girl. no seriously, isn't she the most beautiful person you've ever seen?" ethan smiled at you, causing your cheeks to heat up.
"okay, for real this time. i met y/n in elementary school. i wanted to sit by her because she had the sixty four pack of crayons with the sharpener on it. she was the shit with those crayons. she was nice when i asked her if i could use them. but when i broke her favorite color, she got pissed, snatched the crayons away from me and told me she hated me. naturally little six year old ethan was sad." you covered your mouth, laughed at ethan.
"in middle school, grayson, y/n, and i were basically the shit. we thought we ran middle school. well, not really. grayson and i weren't the most liked kids at our school. y/n didn't care. she didn't stick with the crowd that thought grayson and i were different. she was proud that she was our friend. best friend, even. when people would laugh at her or call her stupid for hanging out with us, it didn't affect her. she didn't care. middle school nights consisted of all of us building forts with the couch cushions and blankets. our moms would yell at us for literally ripping the living room apart. we watched movies, made youtube videos, and played truth or dare. grayson and i didn't even feel like we were different. with y/n, it felt like we had multiple friends, even if we had one or two." ethan smiled at you.
"and soon, here comes high school. probably the worst and best years of my life. well, i'd like to thank y/n for doing my homework for me. you the real mvp, girl. she's probably the only reason i graduated to be honest." everyone started to laugh.
"you all are laughing but i was being serious." ethan scratched the back of his neck.
"freshman year started well. grayson and i made the football team and y/n was our little cheerleader. she was at every game. i couldn't help but blush when she would cheer for me." he smiled.
"my feelings for y/n became stronger everyday. i would text her every night. facetime her. anything. although the bullying was rough throughout freshman year and progressively got worse, i still had my two absolute best friends. y/n and grayson. that's all i needed." ethan patted graysons back.
"sophomore year is when i really had the hots for y/n. she was everyone's dream girl. i was scared that someone would steal her from me. even if she wasn't mine. and it happened. she was excited to tell me she had a date with the quarterback. what a douchebag. he totally didn't see what i saw in her. she was mine. i had to act like i was happy for her but i truly wasn't. she called me in tears one night saying the douchebag had another girl around his arm. it was awful. i heard y/n cry and i immediately wanted to beat someone up. that night i went to her house to comfort her. i couldn't stand it anymore. i looked at her when she opened the door and smashed my lips into hers."
you blushed at ethan talking about everything. never leaving out a detail.
"i confessed my feelings and thank god i did. ethan grant dolan, had a girlfriend ladies and gentlemen!" everyone laughed.
"junior year rolled around and i was probably the happiest i have ever been. y/n and i went on many adventures. we were high school sweethearts. i was so excited that she was mine."
"and finally senior year came. it was hectic. everything was a perfect hectic though. i just loved everything about y/n. how mature she was. but this was also the year when college started to come. y/n got a scholarship to ucla and grayson and i were going to ohio state (rep). we went our separate ways. it was so hard for me. i promised i wouldn't make things awkward. we would remain friends and hopefully after college, we would come back to each other." ethan smiled.
"and look at us now, y/n. god honestly wanted us to be together. we got brought back together. four years after college and look where we are. we're here at our wedding. this beautiful wedding. we made it, y/n. i hope one day that we can start a family. i'm so glad you're mine baby girl. i truly believe god gave me you for the ups and downs."
"god gave me you for the days of doubt."
you stared at ethan, crying. "i love you."
"i love you baby."
💫
i didnt know how to end this.
