Chapter Three

"Turn left here." I point to the left as if Jonah could actually see me. He follows my instructions and makes a left hand turn. "My house is the blue one on the right, second one before the stop sign." I add.

"You know, you don't actually live that far away from us but we're planning on moving to apartments once we get back from tour." Zach says, -no so subtly- wrapping an arm around my seat.

I don't what it is about Zach but I just feel so drawn to him. I feel safe when I'm in his presence. Then again I've been next to him for almost five hours so I might not be right. A part of me doesn't want him to leave when we're done with today.

"Tour?"

"Yeah a song from our EP Something Different went viral so now we're going on tour for it." Daniel turns in his seat, turning to face me.

"Something Different?" I mumble to myself, feeling like I've heard it before. "Does it go like: I can read your mind, I know what your thinking. I could spend my time feeling all the reasons." I sing out in perfect harmony.

"Yeah that's it. Dang girl you got a good voice." Jack says, causing my cheeks to heat up from the sudden attention.

"Yeah, the song really means a lot to us. It's about not really caring what other people think and kinda just doing you." Corbyn says from the passenger seat. I could tell he really meant what he said.

A/N That is an actual quote from Señor Besson

"I'm touched." I place my hand over my heart in a dramatic way. These boys are making me too soft and I've only known them for less than an hour.

"Is this it?" Jonah asks as he nears the end of the street. There's a moving truck in the driveway indicating that some of my stuff has arrived. I know I'll have to go shopping for other household furniture and accessories.

"Yup. Welcome to Mi Casa." I giggle slightly at my poor spanish and watch as Jack and Daniel hop of the car. Jonah turns the engine off, resulting in him exiting too followed by Corbyn. Jacks moves his seat up so than Zach and I can exit from the back.

I take in a deep breath as my feet make contact with the driveway. I look down at my phone and see that it's only 2:00 pm. It feels a lot later than 2 o'clock.

I turn around and clap my hands together. "Well boys, are we just gonna stand around all day or are you gonna help unload?"

They all scurry to the moving van, trying to figure out how to open it. I take the chance to head towards the front door. The movers gave me instructions that they left the key under the mat so I grabbed it and unlocked the door.

The house was beautiful. Granted it needs some decor but the white walls and polished floors made it look very professional. I was excited to get everything set up and moved in so than I could see the final product.

After a few hours, everything was moved in. I do need to make a few trips to IKEA for a few extra things but I think for right now, everything is good. We were all dispersed in my kitchen, ready to pass out with the boys recent EP blasting from the living room.

"Damn, I'm spent." I wipe sweat from my forehead, laying back onto the floor. I didn't care that it was mostly covered in dirt and dust. I was taking a shower soon anyways.

"I'm starving." Jonah jumps up on the counter, placing a hand on his growling stomach. A few "same"'s are heard throughout the the kitchen.

"I could really go for some burgers right now." At this, three of the five boys heads pop up from Corbyns suggestion.

"I'm not going anywhere with you five until you no longer smell like BO." I plug my nose. They really did stink. It was like freshman year in PE all over again.

"How about this. We'll all go home, shower, change clothes and meet you at the local burger place. We'll send you the address since you're new." Jonah says as he hops off the counter. The boys began to stand up and follow Jonah's lead to the front door.

"Oh uh, yeah I guess so." I probably looked like a lost puppy. My car did get arrived an hour after we started unloading so I guess it shouldn't be a problem—

"Or I could pick her up." Zach offers, shrugging his shoulders as it's not a big deal. "I could show her some of the places that are popular in this area." He adds. They all seem to agree with Zach's suggestion and head out the door to their car.

"Don't worry, I'll uber here so than we can take your car." Zach says, standing at my doorway. I don't say anything but instead stare into his brown eyes. He stares back.

There's a constant motion going in and out of his iris'. Something I can't quite detect.

"Zach if you don't get in this car in thirty seconds we're leaving you!" Daniel yells from inside the car.

"I'll see you later Mr. Herron." I smile at him before placing a quick kiss on the cheek and closing the door. I watch through the little peephole as Zach's face lights up red and he smiles to himself. He says something inaudible and turns to head to the car.

I turn around and head into the living room, pausing the current song that was playing. I hear a sudden ding come from the kitchen and I make my way there.

A notification popped up and it was a text from Zach.

Zach:
be ready by 5. dinner
is at 8:30 and i wanna show
you something. wear
something casual 😏

I responded back with a simple "alrighty" and headed upstairs. I can already tell this is going to be an interesting night.

Hope you enjoyed Chapter 3. Also, happy birthday to corbyn!!!!
