When we woke up I helped Zack to change his band aid and then Cody knocked on the door, with breakfast for us. "Hi Cody." I just awkwardly said. "Oh my god, are you both okay?" He asked worried, trying to touch Zack's bruises. "Yes, we're fine, I guess." Zack said, slapping Cody's hand from his face. "Yeah, Zack came in time and saved me." I said, making eye contact with Zack and smiled at him. "Wow, you're a hero Zack." Cody, who couldn't believe it said. "No it was nothing, really." Zack stuttered. I rolled my eyes, still smiling. "Well I should let you both rest, but I brought you breakfast." Cody said, handing us the two plates. "Thank you." We both said. Cody stayed for a few more minutes to talk and then he left again. "I'm just gonna go and change into something else, be right back." Zack said. I nodded and got back into my bed. Just when Zack left someone knocked on my door again. It was Miss Tutweiller. "Oh my god Y/N! Are you okay?! I'm so sorry. This is all my fault!" She cried, hugging me. "Yeah don't worry, Zack saved me juts in time." "I'd never thought I'll say this but god bless Zack." She said, pressing her hand on her heart. "So what happens to Brendon now?" I asked concerned. "Oh you don't have to worry about him, he's currently in our prison cell on the ship, waiting until we reach American ground again, where he will have to take responsibilities for his actions. I wanted to throw him overboard, but turns out that that's illegal." She said. "Okay, thank you for you coming, but I just really want to rest right now." I said. "Okay, no problem. Just one more question. where's Zack? I want to thank him." She asked. "I'm right here." Zack said, before I could even answer. Meanwhile I just went back in my bed and a few minutes later Zack came in my room as well. "Hey I have to go and see the nurse, she wants to check up on my bruises. Do you want to come with me?" He asked "Sure." I said. We started walking and suddenly I started to remember everything from last day. I began shaking and to heavily breathe. I needed to get out of here. "Y/N? Are you okay?!" Zack asked, looking at me concerned. Before I could answer, he grabbed my hand and just led me into the next room, which was a storeroom. "Breathe. Y/N, breathe." He said, looking into my eyes. "Just focus on my voice." I looked at him and he just started holding me. "Just breathe. In and out." He said with a calm voice. After a few minutes I finally was okay again. "Sorry." I whispered, starting crying again. "Don't worry." He said, hugging me and kissing my forehead. "How come you're so good with dealing with panic attacks?" I asked, looking up at him. "I had a friend, who I had to calm down a few times." He said. We spent about an hour in the storeroom, until we walked to my room again. I just got in my bed, closed my eyes and tried to sleep.
Bailey came to visit me and took me out for dinner. Well the dinner was in her cabin. "How have you been holding up?" She asked me. "Fine, I guess." I muttered, not wanting to tell her about what happened this morning. "Zack told me about the incident this morning..." She said in a serious voice. "It was nothing really. Zack was there to help me." I answered. "He's been around you a lot recently, hasn't he?" She asked, raising one of her eyebrows. "I guess he's just worried about me, but I'm glad, because I don't know what would have happened, if he wouldn't have been there for me." I said. "Anyways, what's up with you and Cody?" I asked, changing the topic. "He's really cute and he's also the first guy to ever go through so much trouble just to make me feel happier. I mean he recreated the Kettlecorn mulch festival for me." She said, blushing and playing with her hair. "That sounds great. You should ask him out, because trust me it will take him another 3 months to ask you out." I said laughing about his 6 month plan. Me and Bailey spent a great evening together, before I left, I thanked her and hugged her. Then I decided to look at what Zack was doing, but on my way I met Cody. "Oh, hi Y/N, just the person I wanted to see." He said happily. "Hey Cody, what's up?" I replied. "You should come to visit my guru tomorrow. He's a swami at the top of a mountain.I thought maybe you want to relax." He explained. "Sure, thank you Cody." I answered, leaving him all by himself.
When I finally arrived at Zack's cabin, he opened the door and this was the first time that I actually noticed his dark circles under his eyes and how tired he looks. "Hey Zack, I just wanted to thank you again, for well everything." I said, blushing. "It's nothing." He said, just brushing it off. "Yes it is. You saved me and even tho you got beaten up pretty bad yourself and look like you haven't slept in a week, you still keep helping me. You should come to Cody's guru with me tomorrow, it will help you relax. Because you should really rest." I said. "I'm fine, really." He sighed. I kissed him on the cheek and looked at him again "Go take a long hot shower and go to bed." I whispered. "Alright." He said, smiling like an idiot. "Meet you back here in 20 minutes?" He asked. "Sure." I said. I went back to my cabin as well, when I got out of it I changed into my sweatpants and an old band shirt. I walked back to Zack's cabin and then we watched a movie together until we fell asleep in each others arms.
