Chapter 8

I woke up from my phone vibrating. It was Bailey calling me. "Hey Y/N, Cody asked me if I want to go to see 'Flowers and chocolate' and I thought that maybe you want to join us too. You can also bring a date." She explained. "Oh so you and Cody are planning ongoing on a date together." I said raising my eyebrow. "Yeah, well he's been really cute to me. So I thought that I just give it a shot." She said. "That's great! I just don't have anything to wear." I complained. "Don't worry, we can go shopping before." She suggested. "Sounds great. Meet you in 10 minutes on the sky deck?" I asked. "Sure." We hung up and I got ready. Well kinda, I actually just put on leggings, some sweater and brushed my hair. Then I left my cabin and made my way to the sky deck, where Bailey was already waiting for me. "Hey Bailey, ready to go?" I greeted her. "Sure." We started talking until she asked me: "So who are you asking on a date tonight?" "I'm not sure to be honest. I'd ask Zack but I'm kinda scared that he will reject me." I explained. "Are you kidding? He would never reject you, he's kinda crazy about you." She tried to convince me. I gave her a doubtful look and she quickly added: "Come on, just ask him." "Okay, I'll do it. But let's focus on something else first: What should we wear?" I asked. So we started looking for clothes, Bailey ended up buying a white summer dress with a small pattern on it, whilst I ended up buying a maroon colored crop top and a black skirt. When we were finished we brought our bags to our cabins and went back to the sky deck, because Bailey wanted a smoothie and I had to work. But so had Zack, which led Bailey to pushing me into him. "Oh hey, sorry." I apologized. "Don't worry. I've been looking for you anyways. They're playing this chick flick and I thought you might want to watch it. With me...?" He asked. "Sure." I answered, smiling because I didn't have to ask. "Great. Pick you up at 5?" "Yeah, sure." I answered. We continued talking for a little bit, until I looked at the clock and realized, that I should already been working for 10 minutes. I changed into my work uniform and started working. Nothing special happen during my shift, me and Zack exchanged a few smiles, which earned us a few serious looks from my uncle.

When my shift was finally over I went over to my cabin and started getting ready. I put on my new maroon coloured crop top and the skirt with tights. I also took a strand of hair, braided it and made a ponytail. Then I sat down and went on Instagram, but just when I opened the app it knocked on my door. It was Zack standing there, wearing a white T-shirt and black pants. "Hey Y/N, you look great." He complimented me smirking. "Thank you." I said blushing. I closed my cabin door and we whilst we were making our way to the sky deck, talking and laughing, he grabbed my hand, which made me blush again. When we arrived at the sky deck we sat down next to Cody and Bailey. "Where have you guys been, you're late. The movie's already playing." Cody whispered. "Sorry, but looking this good just takes it's time." Zack said, making me laugh and Cody just roll his eyes. The movie was awful, it was one of those cliché, romance movie, but when I looked at Zack I could see tear in his eyes, which made me giggle. Who would have thought that the tough guy likes chick flicks. Then I looked over to Bailey and Cody, who put his arm around Bailey. "Who would have guessed that my brother could ever get a date." Zack laughed, looking at the couple as well. I laughed. When the movie was finally over Zack was crying. "Are you crying?" I asked. "No, I've just got something in my eyes." He lied, making me laugh. "Hey, do you guys want to go study for the biology exam with us?" Bailey approached us. "You should already know the answer to that." I laughed. "Okay, well see you tomorrow then." they said and walked away.

"So what do you want to do know?" I asked him, smiling. "Oh, I have there some ideas." He said smirking. He took my hand before I could even answer and led me into one of the lifeboats. "If my uncle sees us here he will kill us." I whispered. "I don't care." Zack said, pushing his lips onto mine, making my heart race. I've never felt so many butterflies before. He softly brushed the hair out of my face and stared at me with his insanely beautiful blue eyes for a few seconds. Then he pressed his lips against mine again and I put my arms around his neck. He started kissing my neck, when suddenly London, Cody and Bailey interrupted us. "What are you guys doing here?" Zack hissed. "Uhm London asked us to help bring her summer collection of clothes here, because apparently she's using these as closets." Cody stated awkwardly. They all got inside the boat, making me say: Guys I think there's not enough space for all of us in here." "What do you mean?" Asked London, Turing around, hitting Cody's nose with a pair of shoes. Which made Cody scream and getting up. But whilst doing so he accidentally pushed a button, which made the boat shake. "What is happening?" Bailey asked shocked. "I don't know but we should get out of here." Zack said, but just when he finished his sentence the boat fell into the water...
