The streets were silent. Ever so softly, different sounds could be heard, the scuttling of different creatures in the night. The sounds of activeness as others slept.

Without people even knowing it, there was a struggle happening right below their noses.

Gunmar reached out a stony hand and grasped the smooth, warm surface. Finally, it was his, he could once again, become all powerful. A hiss echoed throughout the cavern. This was the poison that the marrow of Trollmarket was now ingesting.

The hearthstone was being drained of its power. Once again, another life force would die out, and the trolls would be driven away.

Unbeknownst to Gunmar, and the rest of the troll population, the Heartstone let out a cry. A calling. With this final act of desperation from the stone, an old, powerful force awoke from a long slumber.

Far from here, in a stone vault locked away under the earth, the ground began to quake and break.

A yawn escaped Jim's lips as he sat up. It'd been a week since Gunmar had taken over Trollmarket, yet there was little to no activity topside. It made everyone uneasy, yet it let them recollect and come up with a plan.

Jim got a up, a small smile on his face. He made his way down the hallway, and peaked into his mothers room. She was fast asleep, another all nighter she'd pulled. He gave a small chuckle, and took off her glasses, and placed them gently on the side table. He placed a small kiss on her forehead and headed down the stairs.

He began to cook quickly, getting together a lunch for Tobes, Claire and him.

The young Trollhunter packed it up swiftly and headed out the door. He pulled on his helmet and was met with two familiar faces.

"Morning Jimbo, ready for another day in the grind?"

"But of course, I can't wait to get back into Coach Lawrence's class and listen to him ramble on about how we'll never be successful parents."

They all gave a laugh, smiles on their faces even though, in the back of each of their minds, they had something bothering them. For Jim, it was what Norma and Strickler had said to him when they visited him that night.

They rolled down the street, talking amongst themselves as they headed to school.

Once locking their bikes up, Jim headed to class. Geography, how fun this auta be.

He waved goodbye to Toby and Claire and was on his way. Nuñez had taken over for Strickler since his absence.

The only thing it seemed that he wanted to discuss, in both Spanish class and Geography, was that freak earthquake that happened in Brazil.

It made him wonder wether it had something to do with Gunmar...

The day went on as usual, well, not completely as usual. Due to the fact Steve and Eli had aided the trolls in their time of need, the Trollhunter crew had become friendlier to them.
