The first time Taehyung tried to go outside was someday between February and March.

Obviously it wasn't the first time he went out in his entire life time. Before he moved in with Jungkook, in early autumn, he used to spend most of his day wandering around on the empty streets.

Taehyung would be the guy who's outside earlier than anyone else and stays until no one's left, doing nothing, just letting the seconds tickle against his skin, hence why he was at the coffee shop at such late hours on a rainy day the night he met the raven-head boy.

Nonetheless, ever since they started living together, the grey-haired male didn't feel the need to go get some fresh air because, to his surprise, being at home with Jungkook could be so amazingly full filling that nothing else was needed.

"Is this how love feels?" He would usually ask himself.

Probably.

His eyelashes fluttered as a loud yawn left his lips when he woke up that one morning.

It wasn't necessarily sunny, just the perfect amount of sun and breeze seemed to mix up at such early hours, and to top it all, it was still winter, which made everything better, because the scenery at the other side of the window was so surreal and beautiful that Taehyung for the first time in many months felt the need to take a morning walk.

"I'm gaining weight, I need it" He whispered to himself pocking his non-existent abs.

He silently got out of the bed and kissed his boyfriend's forehead taking his coat before running down the stairs towards the door.

The cold air hit his face entirely as the door creaked open making his heart feel immensely happy, totally alive.

It wasn't long enough for his feet to take ten counted steps when he felt it.

A sudden grip on his right wrist.

He was about to turn around brightly with that usual boxy-smile plastered on his face when he felt the force put on his wrist, he will never forget how the other's fingers clutched against his skin making a shiver run down his spine.

It hurted and suddenly Taehyung was scared.

Suddenly he doubted who was in front of him leading the way to their house.

Thankfully enough all the force disappeared once the door closed behind their backs, Jungkook turned around caressing the oldest red wrist and mumbled something that the latter wasn't able to hear but he thought was some kind of apology.

A very needed apology.

The boy in front of him kept mumbling until Taehyung noticed the tears welling up on his lover's dark orbs.

He didn't understand why Jungkook was crying, he never cried before, at least not in front of him, and he always looked so strong and confident that seeing him so wrecked standing right in front of him while holding his right hand so gently between his, made his heart clench in agony.

—Don't ever leave my side—went through his ears.

It wasn't like an order, more like a pitiful plead.

Taehyung didn't think much about it, he just nodded taking a step closer to the younger boy's embrace.

He was happy with Jungkook, moreover Jungkook was the reason why he was happy, he didn't need anything else, did he? He just needed Jungkook to be with him.

At least that's what he thought back then

Months later everything is the same.

They still run around the kitchen counter laughing uncontrollably.

They still cuddle against each other on chilly nights while watching some movie of their "To watch-list".

There's still a strong feeling growing in their hearts daily.

But somehow, when Jungkook is working on his office and Taehyung happens to be doing something, anything really, near one of their many windows, he wonders, how would it feel to have one of those dates outside, the ones they used to have not long after they met, before they moved in together, when the breeze played with the dark locks of the younger boy making him giggle at the messy hair he would end up with.

He just wonders, how would it feel to go together to some place far away, some place like Busan, maybe they could step on the cold winter sand and let the waves die in their feet, they could run around and laugh just how they laugh when they run around the kitchen.

He wonders, if Jungkook prefers the sun or the rain, maybe he choose the snow or the foggy weather they have today, if he ran away in this exact moment Jungkook wouldn't be able to find him, the younger probably wouldn't even be able to see his own hand and he could finally be free.

Giggling at his own thoughts and with the image of a lost Jungkook trying to find his hand, Taehyung doesn't even notice the words that just ran through his mind.

"...and he could finally be free"

It came out so carelessly and Taehyung is so naive that he is only subconsciously aware of how trapped he is.

Looking through the window he keeps on wondering while making dinner.

Just wondering.

Because wondering can do no harm, right?
