(862 words)—Would you want to go on a trip together?
Those are the words Taehyung uses while they are both watching some random movie on TV.
—A trip you say?
Against the older's expectations Jungkook doesn't seem bothered by the question, he could even be considering the possibility of going out together.
—It's almost summer, it would be nice going to Busan—he explains eyeing the raven-head boy while laying his head on the latter's lap—is also your hometown, isn't it?
Jungkook gets a hold of one of the other's hands and play with its fingers calmly.
—Busan is really pretty—he says in thought—not as pretty as you though.
The blush creeps through Taehyung's cheeks rapidly, he can't do anything else besides hiding his now red face behind his free hand.
—Stop it—he whines.
—I'm just stating facts, you are utterly beautiful.
Jungkook smiles widely even though Taehyung is unable to see that at the moment, he frees his lover's hand, which goes directly to cover the other side of the boy's red face, and help him sitting on his lap.
Butterfly kisses are pressed all over his hands until he decides to uncover his face letting the youger's lips meet his forehead, cheeks, nose...
—You know that right? You know you are the epitome of beauty, right?—whispers Jungkook ghosting over his lips.
—You always say that, you cheesy bastard, and I'm not.
Taehyung leans in to get a kiss wrapping his arms around the raven-head's neck but the latter backs away a little smirking on the process.
—I may not be saying it enough times then.
—I hate you—says the oldest of them both forming a pout on his plump lips.
—You love me.
Jungkook loses his playful smile caressing gently the grey-haired boy's cheek with one hand and his lower back with the other.
The distance between them getting smaller with each second passing.
—You are right, I love you.
And with that their lips stick to each other sweetly in a calm, gentle movement, Taehyung smiles in between the kiss making Jungkook smile too and pressing their foreheads together the latter looks into those innocent autumn eyes so full of love in front of him.
Jungkook can't help but feel sorry.
So sad.
So apologetic.
He feels even worse when those four words leave his own mouth.
—I love you too.

After that night Jungkook spends the majority of his days locked in the office room.
Taehyung has never entered there and the curiosity is growing daily into him, as well as going out, he never felt the need to do it before, Jungkook would keep him busy the entire day and somehow he didn't even think about going out or exploring the office room.
It is always locked nonetheless and he isn't going to sneak in when the raven-head goes to the bathroom.
Taking so many risks to enter a plain office room, is he some kind of crazy maniac?
He probably is.
Because there he is, waiting eagerly for the boy to come out of the room.
Obviously he isn't going to explore the place while Jungkook is doing his business, he wouldn't have time to see anything.
Taehyung remembers watching some videos back on his middle school days about spies and bubblegum so he is going to try that.
He'll put the bubblegum and when Jungkook comes out of the bathroom he'll call him to eat dinner, as per usual the boy will lock his door before going downstairs and he hopes that he can prevent Jungkook from going back to the office until tomorrow morning when the door would be locked again, as it should have always been.
"It's a good plan" he mutters to himself.
But is it worth it?
They've been together for almost a year now, an entire year if he counts the day they met.
Trust is so important in a relationship and he is scared, because his curiosity can only have two outcomes, him finding nothing and ruining Jungkook's trust in him or him finding something and losing all his trust in Jungkook.
"Is it worth it?" He ask to himself again.
A knot forming on his throat as time passes by.
He figures he can put the bubblegum on the door lock and ask Jungkook if he can enter the office, if he says no then he can always explore it at night, because by that answer he would have a reason to enter, wouldn't he?
No, he wouldn't.
Still, he needs to convince himself that he has reason and that what he is doing is right, even if it's not.
He wonders if he would prefer living in a lie than finding a hurtful truth.
But he can't answer, at least not now.
The office door creeks open, all his doubts have to go away because it's now or never, he will never find the determination to do this ever again so if he doesn't go upstairs silently now he will never know what's on the other side of the door.
He takes a step forward.
"Now or never"
