—So, you are going back to Jimin.
Taehyung jumps a little over the unknown husky voice, unable to turn himself over, it has a tint of disappointment distinguishable between the dull words and he seems to get closer and closer.
—Who are you?—the silver haired asks.
As for now the body heat of the other guy is already getting its way around Taehyung's back.
—Why don't you try to find out?
And it is so easy to just turn his head back and look at the person behind, at the same time it's so complicated, because maybe he will see someone he doesn't want to meet, or maybe not, doubts are once again taking big part of his time.
—You are not going to do it, do you?—the boy says, his tone almost giving off a suppressed laugh, Taehyung somehow visualizes a gummy smile behind the words, familiar, very familiar—We used to hold hands, right when any of us got stressed and didn't know what to do, like now, I would hold your hand and you would clear your mind, you want a suggestion?
But probably this is not the best time for one.
Still the silver haired nods, most likely because he is scared, in the depths of his heart because he is confused, curious, he just wants to be sure that what he is doing is right.
—Don't trust him, don't trust Jimin.
As the boy gives his piece of advice their hands intertwine shortly, so gently that Taehyung doesn't notice how he ends up with a folded paper on his hand.
And the boy is no longer there.
However before leaving he whispers "Have you ever wondered why no one is searching for you?"
It's such a soft whisper that could have been mistaken with the gentle breeze. And he is gone.
No heat irradiating behind, just cold wind making him shiver.

After that Taehyung walks back home, is a really long way to go, almost 3 hours if he walks slowly, but somehow he needs that extra time to think, about Jungkook, about what he said and about the unknown boy.
On his hand the note is still left untouched, he clearly wants to read it but it is rather scary, what if it's something he prefers to ignore? Knowing too much could be dangerous in his situation.
And Jimin.
Jimin is the only person he has, no one has been there for him besides Jimin, his savior, his angel, always trying to help, not even Jungkook who just suddenly popped out from nowhere, or that boy whose voice seems so familiar.
He is not only psychologically tired when he arrives, Taehyung muscles hurt horribly and it is already pretty late at night.
—Jimin?
The silver haired sighs throwing himself onto the sofa, it's been such a long day, a emotional rollercoaster and the only thing he can think about is...
The note.
Still firmly grabbed by his right hand.
It's true that if he thinks about it everything has unfolded on very peculiar way, and the sentence doesn't leave his mind.
"Have you ever wondered why no one is searching for you?"
Probably because the past months have been so chaotic that he couldn't give any of his time to try and explain that, even though he remembers clearly that was one of his main worries the day he escaped.
Is then when he remembers, that small cell-phone the police gave to him, he hasn't been using it lately and it's probably out of battery too, however, he seems to remember where he left it.
Taehyung's body acts out of impulse, he is that kind of person, walking up the stairs slowly he gives himself sometime to focus on what he's going to do.
Enter the room.
Take the phone.
Charge it.
Turn it on.
No calls.
Is not like anyone could call him, Taehyung doesn't have anyone's number, it was a phone he used to use just to communicate with the officer in charge.
Maybe he should call him, just to let the old man know that he is okay.
They should be searching for him, yet no one is looking out for the silver-haired.
—Taehyung?
When did he input the digits? When did he press call?
—Hey...—his voice is soft, kind of hesitant which makes the person on the other line laugh.
—How's everything going, young man? I haven't heard from you ever since you left—however the officer doesn't sound angry, friendlier than usual actually—You aren't calling me while you are drunk, right?—he asks while laughing loudly, Taehyung guesses the one who is a little tipsy is the man and not himself.
—I just... I just wanted to say I'm okay...
Once again his voice sounds weak and the doubts are easily found inside his last two words.
—Well, we already knew that, your friend called days before you left saying you were moving in with him—the sentence hits Taehyung like a truck, what friend? Jimin? But he didn't know Jimin back then, Hoseok? Jungkook? The unknown guy?The police officer keeps talking but the boy can't hear anything—the only weird thing is how you didn't take anything away with you, you can drop by anytime and take your things, Taehyung? Are you okay? Taehyung?
