"V-vampire? I thought that was only in stories. How did this happen?" I inquired more out of surprise than curiosity. "I bet you really want to know," the man waited for me to nod my head in anticipation and then said, "Too bad you used up your question." At this I pouted even though I knew how childish that seemed. "Y'know, I think I'll miss you Sweetie," the man remarked before howling, "Who am I kidding! You're just like all the others. You pathetic humans are just too predictable." After saying this he opened the door and left, slamming the bars once more.
As he walked away however, I heard him yell, "Kane! Bring this human some food! You need to keep it healthy so it'll be worth more than a penny this time!" A few moments later I heard an unfamiliar voice shout, "Yes Master Morren!"
Suddenly, walking sounds were coming closer to my door. I started tensing up, hoping that ma-Morren wasn't coming back in. I heard the door creak open and looked up.
