Adeline

I wake up in me and my trailer earlier than I usually do. Today I had a lot to do, I was put in charge of corralling the teenagers together to find the lost wolf. She was the last Acriture after all.
I heard my father's voice outside my bedroom, talking to one of the other wolves. He was the alpha of the pack and constantly had people asking him questions and was always giving orders. He had 20+ werewolves to take care of and keep safe from hunters, so he relied heavily on me to help him keep people in line. Everyone was supposed to respect us. We were Jonas and Adeline Danvers. Royalty among wolves.
It's Sufficient to say I have a lot to live up too. I left our trailer and looked out at our camp site. We live in Alaska, that's our home. We can run freely there, without much interference from regular people. The only reason we're in this small town is because of a mistake that happened 16 years ago.

"Well well well, look who it is. It's sleeping Beauty! Since when does the lovely Adeline Danvers wake up before 12pm?" Someone said waiting at the beside the door to my trailer. It was Joseph Blackwell, one of my close friends. He was also an idiot.

"Well dear Joseph some of us actually have important things to do today, other than creeping outside doors... " I told him pointedly. He snorted, and walked beside me as I was going over to one of the picnic tables Outside.  He picked up one of the breakfast bars that was outside on the table set out for everyone to eat.

"Where's your sister? She's the one I actually like." I asked him as we sat down. Joseph knocked his head towards Laura running towards us while stuffing the food into his mouth.

Laura sat down beside her twin brother across from me. Looking at him with disgust she scooted away from him.

"So, can you catch me up again Adeline? What exactly do we know about the person we're trying to find? I didn't really get it thebother day when your father told us eveeything. " Laura asked me. Her brother smaked her arm and made a gesture of confusion.

"Awe cmon sis I'm right here! You could've asked me!" he said with a look of offense.

"I don't ask questions to people who don't know how many planets are in our solar system. " She told him.

"Uh, I know how many planets there are okay. " he responded. Laura wasn't convinced

"Mmhmm. Sure. How many are there then?" she told him

"uh.... " Was all joseph could say.

"Exactly." Laura said. They started bickering and I just ignored them. Eventually I got bored of listening to them.

"ENOUGH!" I yelled. "We have to much to do today now stop arguing and go get the others. We have to find to school. " I told them. When they didn't move I growled.

"Do I look like I'm kidding!? I'm not going to get yelled at by my father because you two refused to get your crap together." I told them.

"Okay okay, I'm sorry. We're going, we're going." Joseph told me and go find the other kids.

"Don't stress out to much Adeline, it's going to be fine. I promise. Are you okay?" Laura asked me after Joseph left. Putting a hand on my shoulder, I immediately felt better. I smiled at her and went to go get my stuff.
I got my backpack and looked in the mirror. I ran a comb through my hair again. Just time sure I didn't look like an absolute mess. Everyone would be looking towards me today, I had to get my head in the game.
My father stopped me before I left to go talk to the rest of the people going to school today.
"Adeline, are you sure you know what to do today? I can't express just how important this is." he told me.

"I know dad. I won't disappoint you. Well find her. " I told my father. He didn't look convinced, but I turned around and left anyway.
There were 8 kids waiting outside for me to talk to them. I took a deep breath and stepped outside.

-one hour later-

When we stepped into the high schools office, and the secretary looked alarmed.
"How can I help you kids?" she asked.

"We're the Caravan kids, I believe my father called you a few days ago." I told her. Her face lost its interest in us and went back to being bored.

"Names? I'll pull up your schedules." she asked me.

"Adeline Danvers, Joseph and Laura Blackwell, Trina and Charlotte Swan, Zachary and Keith Mills and Maya reeds." I told her. She printed the schedules off and handed them to me. We all left the office.

"So how will we know who she is?" Charlotte asked me. I looked away from my schedule and looked around the hallway around us.

"Well, first, you'll probably be able to Smell her. But you'll know her when you see her. You'll just know, she's apart of us. The wolf inside you will be jumping around inside your soul, because it's meeting its sister for the first time in 16 years. Trust me, You know" I told all of them. Suddenly Keith inhaled, we all looked at him. Then I could smell it. Another wolf, coming towards us. I turned around and a girl with straight brown hair and glasses ran into me and fell on the floor. It was her. I reached down and helped her up. I locked eyes with her and grilled her arm. It felt like I was meeting someone I loved and hadn't seen years for the first time.
Everyone was moving around us, watching intently. They didn't dare interrupt, this was a special moment. Laura called my name quietly, we were drawing attention. I let go of her. She started apologizing and ran away, I called out for her to come back but we lost her in the crowd.

"Well, that certainly didn't take long." Joseph said. Laura smaked him on the back of the head and then the bell for first period rang. We all went to our classes, with the understanding that that girl is now the most important girl in this town.
