Be careful what you wish for

Chapter 10 ~ Pressure

Sleepover day. I was ready. I had packed everything I could possibly need , I had snacks for all the girls , nightwear , swim wear (just in case ; she has a pool), causal day wear , fancy day wear , my favourite dress, boots , heels , toothbrush, makeup, bag , money , phone , hair brush and bobbles and a charger. I was pretty sure I was prepared for absolutely anything!

*DING DONG*
I rang the door bell. Mels house was colossal! I could easily fit eleven flats the size of mine into it , probably more! *note to self: NEVER take any of the girls back to the flat* (not that I was thinking of it anyway).
'Jees mel! Chill!' I shrieked as I was nearly knocked off my feet in a hug.
'Come inside , come inside! You're the first one!'
'Okay , Okay!' I laughed
O.M.G! Not only was the house huge , but it was one of the most MAGNIFICENT houses I had ever seen in my entire life! It was extremely modern, so everything was open and there was very few doors downstairs. There was an electric fire in the middle of the living room (which you walked straight into from the front door) with a large cream designer couch and matching cream rug. There was the latest curved television above the fire which I stared at in awe and envy before being dragged into the kitchen.

The kitchen was even better! Everything has a place and there was weird little cupboards which held more than you would ever think , and a large metal circle which rotated with all the pans on.
'Are you hungry?'
'Um a little I suppose.'
This was when I realised she was holding a small remote in her hand , she clicked one of the buttons and suddenly the sleek white breakfast bar slid out into a full on table with a gold border. I stood there stunned. Mel however seemed quite happy and sprang around the kitchen getting crisps from the back of a very small discreet cupboard which I hadn't noticed before.
'My mum hates any food that isn't healthy' she told me with a mischievous grin however I on the other hand love it! She has never noticed my draw before.'
She pulled me to where she was standing , yanked open the draw once more and pressed another button but then with a sudden realisation on her face , shoved me to the side. I then realised why she did that , for if I would have stood there a second longer I would have got whacked in the side by the metal rack which had just sprang out. It was full to bursting with the most glorious food I had ever seen. Anything unhealthy you could think of (that didn't need to be kept in a fridge or freezer , obviously) was here , chocolate, crisps , pop , sweets , pastries , and much more , they were all here. She turned to me grinning , clearly very proud of herself. I giggled at the expression on her face.
' Oh mel , I do love you , you absolute numpty'
' Come on , lets take some of it to my room! We have half an hour before my mum gets back!'
And with that were off , dashing backwards and forwards to Mels room with handfuls of all the wonderful things in the cupboard , laughing our heads off. When we thought we finally had enough, we collapsed onto Mels bed , trying to catch our breath.
I felt a lot more at home in Mels room , for it was messy and it had posters plastered all over the walls. Not that it still wasn't amazingly huge , and she had all the latest clothes and gadgets , but it was a whole lot more normal than the rest of the house.

About ten minutes later Dee arrived , then Rachel , then Tia and finally Lils. Eventually we were all here...

Hi guys! There is going to be a part two to this chapter because it's quite long , and as you may have noticed, I am awful at writing long chapters. I'm quite proud of this one though, what do u think?
