Be careful what you wish for

Chapter 13 ~ Pranks

Miss Blaze gave us a sharp look , as if to say one more sound out of you and you will have a weeks detention. However we couldn't contain our giggles!

Clara was in our lesson. And we knew she was (hopefully) going to get called out in approximately 5 minutes.

We had set it all up very carefully. We had left two notes on Harper's desk. Head girl of year 10 (we have a head girl and boy for each year). Although she seems to think she is head of the whole school , and she is an incredible suck up , always being sweet as pie and never doing a thing wrong. Most people can't stand her. Including us. However , we knew she would get these notes to the people they needed to get to quick as anything whatever it took.

So the notes we left were addressed to Sky Davis Class P3 and Clara Stewart Class T10.

They both read:
Dear (Clara /  Sky)
There has been a last minute school council meeting called. It is to be held in the library at 11:00 during second period. Please ask your teachers permission to go , for it is vital that you attend.
Thank you for your cooperation.
Your sincerely
Matilda Smith

They were both in the school council. Clara was because she 'wanted to make the school a better place' but I don't actually know how she thinks she's going to do that , as she doesn't speak in the meetings , and Sky joined because Clara joined and it was a chance to get off some lessons.

Matilda Smith was a year ten who organised all the meetings. The letter was not from her at all , it was from us , however I printed the letter to make it look official and as an added bonus , I didn't have to try and copy Matilda's handwriting. 

When they both got to the library however there would be no meeting. Instead , there would be another letter , this time addressed to both of them.

Dear Clara and Sky 
We are dreadfully sorry to inform you but the meeting time has changed due to most people not being able to make the original arrangement. The meeting will now be held in E3 at 11:35 during third period.

By then it should be nearly third period so , Clara , being Clara , should decide (since E3 is super close to the library) that it will be easier just to wait there.

So they will wait. Then 11:35 will come and go and they will still be waiting for absolutely nothing. Also ,  they both are in the same class. Along with me and Dee , and we have the strictest teacher in the whole school, who seems to still think he's living in the Stone Age. We all actually think he was born in the Stone Age , he's so old , like his punishments. He still makes people stand in the corner facing the wall , he'd be getting to ruler out on students if he was allowed! And his was the period Clara and Sky were going to be missing. Oh I couldn't wait to see the look on his face when they walked in!

'Clara Stewart? There is a letter for you.'
'Oh , thank you!'
'Miss Blaze , please may I go to a school council meeting at 11:00?'
'Finish questions seven to twenty-five on page two hundred and thirty-four and then yes , you may.'
'Thank you Miss Blaze'
An evil grin grew on my face. I suddenly caught Tia's eye and my grin suddenly turned into a severe case of the giggles.
'Miss Zara! If you have not finished ALL the questions on page two hundred and thirty-four then you will be having a TWO HUNDRED AND THIRTY-FOUR minute DETENTION with me!'
This made me stop abruptly.
