Humans only exist on Alcoria because people started to believe it was wrong to keep killing off the human offspring. They would be raised and then sent away, to live by themselves, and soon, communities of humans started to form. They built within the perimeter of land granted to hem, but as generations went on and the humans stopped talking about their ancestors, they started to forget about the boundaries they lived within, and started expanding, accidentally invading other territories. This would anger the other species, sometimes culling the population slightly.
Some human communities stayed within their boundaries and didn't stop teaching about their ancestors, leading to a more peaceful relationship between the two. Other communities were neutral with their neighbouring species, living in moderate peace, with the occasional disturbance.
