idk if i should make it were they are in high school, because these yandere stories almost always happen in high school. You know what! I'm doing it were they are in high school. Also this is for both male or female.

since kindergarden, y/n and Edd were best friends, along with Tom, Matt, and Tord, but y/n didn't care about them, instead she/he spent most of her/his time with Edd, he was her/his first friend, he got her/him out of depression, he was her/his first crush, he was her/his first obsession. As soon as they met she/he knew she/he felt something. she/he needed him! she/he wanted him! SHE/HE LOVED HIM!... But... he didn't feel the same way, he only looked at her/him as a sister/brother or just a friend nothing more, nothing less. Knowing this she/he went insane thinking there was another woman/man. Every woman/man he ever talked to died the next day, and no one ever knew...it was her/him the whole time. This went on for years. And her/his obsession for him grew more and more everyday. Nothing would ever stand in her/his way.
*Present Day*
it was there last year of high school for Tom, Matt, Tord, y/n, and Edd.
Edd slowly walking towards y/n caring a red love letter, with a faint blush on his face. y/n noticed this and thought he was finally going to tell her/him he loved her/him, they would get married, and live happily ever after. "H-hey y/n, i-i wanted to tell you this for a while, b-but i was w-wondering if you.......................................................................................could give this love letter to (random girl or boy) i've had a crush on her/him for a while now?" you looked at him, on the brink on tears, but you but on the best fake smile you could do and put on a cheery voice, "Sure thing Edd, anything for my best friend." "Thank you y/n, your a life saver." and with that he left. Once he left, you ran back home with tears streaming down your face. You ran into your bedroom and cried into your pillow. Why? Why her/him? I loved him longer. No one would every love him the way i do! i guess i'll just have to get rid of her/him in order to win his heart.
-timeskip to when you are at (random girls/boys) house-
It was night time and (random girl/boy) was sleeping peacefuly in their bed. You slowly ripped off a piece of tape and put it over there mouth to make sure they won't scream. They woke up and started to move around trying to get out of your grip on them. you took out some rope and started to tie together her arms and legs. She/he looked at you with pleading eyes that were begging you to let her/him go, but you ignored her/him and started to tie some rope on the ceiling. After you were done you carried her/him to the rope and placed their head through the rope hole, after a while she/he stopped moving and you saw the life slowly fade away from their eyes before closing them. You untied the rope from there arms and legs letting them free, you ripped off the tape and put a chair a few feet away from there legs so they think that she/he climbed on the chair to get up there. And finally the suicide note.

"Hey Edd, (random girl/boy) wanted me to give this to you." you say as you hand Edd a letter, which you wrote faking it as (random girls/boys) handwriting. When Edd stopped reading it he was in tears. You offered to hug him, which he took. "It's ok Edd." you cooed as you started to play with his hair, it made you mad that he was crying for her, but instead of being showing it, you just said "Don't worry, i'll always love you."
