Chapter 36 | Sweet Scent of Forgotten Earthland

I opened my eyes slowly and saw a place where I haven’t been for a long time. “The guild…” I murmured. It feels like a dream seeing the Fairy Tail guild again.

“So ne…” Master Mavis’ voice said behind me and I turned to her. “Good thing you woke up Natsu, the rest are still inside my bubble, they still didn’t woke up. You see when you woke up inside my bubble it pops. Also it is surprising that you were the first one to wake up inside my bubble and it means you’ve regained strength and power in just a matter of minutes. Try using your magic that you have before.”

I followed what she said and I was surprised that fire appeared in my right hand. “My fire…”

She looked at the others. “It takes an hour to regained strength and power back when you’re here on Earthland that you just came from Earth and I was expecting from Third Master, but oh well.” I looked at the blue bubbles floating behind Master Mavis, each of them has their own bubble. “Oh and I almost forgot! When you’re inside that bubble for an hour, it means you’re also regaining memories while you were living here on Earthland.”

“That means I didn’t regain my Earthland memories?” I asked and she nodded. “But I regained my magic?” She nodded again.

Lucy looks like a goddess even though she’s sleeping. I thought as I looked at her. Gray looks like a baby sleeping; pfffft, I control my laugh. Gajeel has an annoyed look, Laxus looked like he wanted to sting someone, while Mira, Juvia, Erza and Levy looked like innocent angels.

Master Mavis looked at the sky and then looked at me. “Their bubbles are going to pop in an hour, so we still have time, come with me Natsu.” She started walking towards the guild and opened the doors with her magic. “We still have a long discussion.” I followed her going inside the guild.

“The guild is still the same as if nothing happened centuries ago…” Master said as she touches the table with her fingers and I looked around the guild.

I nodded. “It brings back memories to be here.” I remembered how me and Gray started fighting, soon joined by Elfman, then Erza, then the whole guild… I chuckled. “When I think about it, we were acting childishly and carelessly when we were still living here on Earthland…” My eyes widened as I remembered a piece of memory. “Master, I think I remembered something.”

Master sat on a table. “Please tell me about it.”

I sat on the opposite side. “Me and the others were fighting on a creature. The creature belonged to…” I put my hands on fist. “Zeref.”

Master Mavis closed her eyes and puts her elbows on the table with her fingers together, feeling hesitated to say anything. I already met Zeref on Earth and he’s even the husband of Master Mavis. But why would First Master marry him that she knows what happened centuries ago? I thought as I stared at her waiting for her reply.

“Can we talk when the others are already awake? Right now I wanted to take you somewhere with my magic.” She gets her book which is the Book of Fairies that she used to go here on Earthland. She started to turn the pages and then a light came out on the page where the pages just stopped. “Book of Fairies, take us to the Memories of Earthland, to the forgotten memories of Natsu Dragneel.”
