Chapter 45 | Can You Feel The Love Tonight

Graduation is the time of high school graduates receives their diploma and felt that their hardwork and effort has paid off. Also it's like a redeem for their sleepless nights. It's the time that they will enter new chapter of their lives, and not feeling the sane anymore. Not being with their groups of friends or no being with the same classmates.

But let's all be honest that high school friends are for life, and we all treasure the bond we have with them. We may not be able to talk with them that much or hang out with them anymore, but the thing is they are the ones that we will never forget and will always have a special place in our hearts.

Everyone is entering into a new chapter of their lives now. Everyone will part and go on with their lives in separate ways. As for the gang, squad or barkada (A/N: or barkada in Filipino language, not sure if it is equivalent to the English language but referring to a group of friends and not something negative so yeah :/ ), they have chosen what paths they should take.

Love & Belonginess

- POV: Mirajane Strauss -

A week has passed and I'm already accustomed in living here. I began to love the culture, the lifestyle and the food here.

But nothing beats home.

On the other hand, I miss Lisanna and Elfman, and the others. Especially Laxus.

Well we do contact each other everyday, but the feeling is still nice if the person is here.

I walked around the streets of Paris until I saw the Eiffel Tower. It's so beautiful and majestic, so historic - leaving you in awe in the sight of these old buildings. This is Paris, the City of Love. I enjoy travelling and enjoy in sightseeing many places. It kinda feels lonely being alone, but it's for the sake of my passion and besides, I have to know how to be more responsible of myself. I already know how to be responsible since I'm the eldest child, but still feels more different if you're just living on your own.

My thoughts drifted off as panic rises above me.

"Hey!" I said as I felt someone's embrace on my waist.

The man hysterically laughed. "Calm down!"

Wait, what, so familiar. I turned around to face the man embracing me. "Laxus?!" I said in shock. "What are you doing here?"

"Why don't you want me to be here at all?" He said amusingly sad.

"Of course I want you to be here!" I said happily and he lets go of the embrace. "But why and how?" I asked.

He chuckles. " I received scholarship." He holds an envelop. "I'm going to study here too."

I get the envelope from his hands. "You're going to be chef?"

"Yes. I can't think of other courses that I wanted to take. I really don't like all those sciences and stuff." He shrugged. "It's for nerds and science lovers, I dunno." (A/N: I think it's just typical Laxus stuff xD don't take it seriously *winks*)

I giggled. "You want to focus on arts right?"

"Yes, photography, food and fitness." Laxus smiled. "Only that stuff, not to the extent that I wanted painting and other arts."

I hugged him. "We can be together here after all."

"Yeah." Laxus smiles.

And I just feel the warmth of his embrace, right where I belong.
