•Society•

Society is just not fair.

It never is.

You try make yourself better just so people can notice you,
To respect you.

You just want to feel accepted.

Wear all those things that popular kids wear,

Skipping meals and doing bad things,

Just so they can respect you.

Trying not to fail just so they can see you as a respectable person.

Put on those heels,
Wear make up,
See all those popular girls and try to be like them.

Cause society says you have to be like them.

Getting bullied because your the shorter one,
Because you the smarter one,
Because your the nicer one,
You start changing just so society will at least like you, be kind to you.
But in the end it doesn't make a difference.

Cause that's how society is.

Society is just cruel.

When people say beautiful all they think about is appearance not about what's inside.

When you try to talk nobody ever listens, except when they do they only listen to reply, not to understand.

No matter how successful you are,
In class, at home or anywhere else,

People don't notice your success.

They just want to see who falls.
Cause once they do they start teasing them for failing at their own task.

Cause no matter how successful you are, people only want to see your flaws, your mistakes, your insecurities.

When society tells you to be yourself,
And you showed your real self,
They start judging you.

Why?

I just don't get it.

Do you see how cruel society is?

You never know what a person could feel inside.

We just start talking, instead of thinking what others feel.

We spread rumors instead of knowing the real side of the story.

We ruin others just so we can bring ourselves up.

I wanna be the reason you don't have to see the rain.

I wanna be the person that will cover up your stain.

But in the end I'm always covered with the blame.

I wake up every morning and i ask myself, is life worth living or is there more to it.?

I got so many questions but no answers to them.

Society never knows the truth.
But then again,

Aren't we all part of the society..?
