"YO, MONTIE? WHAT TIME YOU TRYING TO GET IN THE STUDIO? What's the plan?" Gunna asks of me as I drove around the dark, vacant and silent streets of Atlanta. Rayne was to my right in the passenger seat next to me holding onto my, very much larger than hers, hand while peering out of the window. I could tell that she was at peace right now. Her eyes softly closed here and there, breathing in some of the fresh air from outside. Gunna rode in the backseat by himself, tapping away on his phone. I come to a red light, abruptly halting and looking through the rearview mirror at Gunna, meeting his dark brown eyes.

"I mean, at this point it's whatever, but I do got some things I have to get out." The light finally turns green after I say this and I begin cruising away. My stomach feels empty and I think of the next available food place open at this time of night. I could make a long drive and go somewhere fancy but I just couldn't bring myself to. I wasn't exactly feeling iHop either and I am for certain that I don't want any Rally's. I eventually settle on going to the nearest McDonald's.

"You want me to register a time frame so that everything's ready?"

"That sounds good G. Set the time for 8 so we can make it there after we pick up some food. I'm hungry and Rayne needs to eat something as well. I don't want her going to sleep on an empty stomach when she has work tomorrow morning." I shake Rayne's hand inside mine and that grabs her attention as she turns to me, wondering what she had missed.

"What I miss?" She asks, those pretty chinky eyes of hers blinking multiple times.

"Don't you have to work tomorrow babe?" I look at her, glancing away from the road for a split second.

"I don't have a job, you take care of me. Remember?" She smiles and I do the same. I personally put Rayne under my care because I love her and I realise that she is more than a dime. One of a kind and I damned sure wasn't about to let her go any time soon. Whatever she wanted, I got it for her and don't try to get me mixed up with someone who just does it because she wants it. She deserves all the things I shower her in, that's what's called love. I spoil her and in return, she spoils me as well by keeping the house clean, cooking my food, and pleasing me whenever needed. Rayne checks all boxes in every category imaginable, more than any other woman ever has.

"I beg to differ. You actually do have a job. It happens to be catering to me all the time. I'm grateful for your work, always. I do need some breakfast to be prepared at around 9:35 am because you know I had to reschedule that photoshoot due to the last events that occurred the other time that we went." I make a hard face while remembering what had transpired.

I don't resent Danielle for her and her personal business, but it made me more than upset that it had to happen on the day that I had intended to circle around my own woman. Of course, I get that she didn't know Kane and his woman Janice were going to be there, but there are times and places to to handle situations like that and needless to say, the timing was all wrong. It hurt the little bit of feelings I do have when Janice took low jabs at Rayne and her past when she herself barely even had food on the table and a nice place to stay. Rayne had to do some unimaginable things to keep a roof over her head and nobody should ever throw that back in her face. I couldn't contain my anger when I had decided to shove her to the ground.

No one comes for me and my family, or woman in this case.

"That's a good ass idea, I never thought about that until now. I most definitely have to call up one of my girls and tell her to have dinner ready for me when I get home." Gunna speaks up, chuckling. I shake my head at his behavior towards women in general. He was a great man but, when it came to cherishing a woman and what she is truly worth, he lacked totally in that department unfortunately. Personally I think that women only see him for the money, despite how handsome or ugly he looked.
