"I CAN NOT BELIEVE YOU DRAGGED ME ON THIS TRIP..." I say to a distracted Jah'eim as we touch base in Houston. Him, Jasmine, Sonny and I were seated together, occupying each other's space. I can admit that Jasmine is a stunning girl. She had gorgeous natural mid back length hair, light coca colored skin with little to no blemishing and those hazel green and dark grey eyes could make any man fold. Sonny as the youngest, favors Jah'eim the most with the same curls died at the tip and sharp eyebrow creases. If Jah was to ever have children, they'd be the spitting image of Sonny hands down. He was just this adorable little being no one could resist. When the plane comes to a stop, Jah'eim pulls the headphones off of his ears while turning to me with a smile. I roll my eyes.
"Huston here we are." He announces while doing a little dance to himself. Sonny claps his hands, screaming a loud yay that caught the attention of a sleeping and very much aggravated Jasmine along with neighboring passengers. They smile but Jasmine doesn't. She groans and leans forward in her seat, glaring at Sonny. Sonny looks at Jasmine from the strong arm of Jah'eim, a humored laugh comes from his small body. He points a finger at her and her currently frizzed hair, laughing even harder. Sonny was a character at most. Jah'eim follows his hand, laughing at Jasmine too.
"You look like complete shit." Jaheim says in between spurts of laughter. Jasmine just glares at him as I am sitting in between the both of them. If I hadn't been there, I have a feeling that Jah would have caught a strong hand to the face.
"Com-pet, shih-t." Sonny repeats which finally causes even me to laugh. In no way or form was I condoning him to curse, it's just the way he sounded it out in perfect syllables. Jah'eim looks in the direction of Sonny, lightly smacking his baby sized hand. Sonny turns his face into a pout and I do the same. It might just be me but when babies are disciplined and they throw a cute pout your way, it tugs a little at my heart. I get why Jah did what he did but the face Sonny made was just too darn adorable.
"Stop repeating stuff, Sonny. What I tell you about that?" Jah'eim says in a firm and asserting voice that made me even question myself.
"Maybe if you wouldn't cuss as much around him like you do then it wouldn't matter," Jasmine peers through me at an already pensive faced Jah'eim. "He wouldn't be able to pick up your bad habits. You are a big brother after all..."
And I oop...
"I don't have time to argue with you Jasmine. We are here to have fun." Jah'eim corrects himself before slipping another cuss word out of his mouth. This alone makes a devious Jasmine smirk, wanting another slip up to happen.
"Oh is the big and bad brother banking down?" She taunts. This makes Jah'eim sigh and grab the cartilage on the outskirts of his nose with the pad of his thumb and index finger. Sonny goes back to normally playing with his hands like kids do. Making small shadow bunnies and flying them in the air as if he had airplanes for hands. People around him admired his cuteness, muttering the occasional aww's. Jah'eim decides that he wouldn't respond to Jasmine at all, looking around him. I keep my mouth shut to further avoid them having more words with one another.
"Attention all passengers!" A female flight attendant's voice comes out the speakers above us as she stands in the middle the isle, facing the people. A smile covers her face, red lipstick not smudging against them. She wore the usual dark navy blue uniform that all Delta attendants do and what looked like a white sailors hat. Her appearance is professionally on point, flat ironed sandy red hair on her head. "It is time to unboard your flight. Please remove your bags and any other items from the upper storage compartment and walk the isle in a solid single file line off of the plane to ensure everyone's safety. I hope you have all enjoyed your flight with us today. My name is Madison, and it was a pleasure serving you all on this long flight."
