Ambushed

Shannon looked to Samantha as she looked over her body, obviously checking for wounds. The crash was pretty bad, but she was glad to see that Samantha was well. "It looks like you didn't get hurt.", she softly spoke to Samantha who was slowly calming down. "Y-Yeah, but I don't know about Nick..?", Samantha spoke as she looked to the officers helping Nick's father. Shannon looked over concerned, "I think he will be alright, though I am sure he will feel sore later."

It took them a little while to get Nick out of the car, it was relieving to hear that he was still alive. The officers helped carry Nick to one of the police vehicles, Nick's father sighed looking very tired. It was obvious that everyone was sore and tired, the cold didn't help that much either. Shannon smiled softly to Samantha as she sat in the back seat of the police car with her kids. Samantha of course sat with them, her face looked a little pale. Seeing what that animal did, scared her to her very core. Not only that but it's strength was mind blowing, the fact that it could destroy things so easily haunted her. Why would anyone want to create something so ruthless? Samantha sighed happy the moment the car started up, just to distance herself from that animal was pretty much a blessing.

Both vehicles started on their way to the police station, the snow seemed to be slowing down which was another good thing. Samantha stared out the window with very focused eyes. She wanted to make sure that the same thing didn't happen again.

Luther was talking to the sheriff, they were discussing ideas for killing this animal. Zack sat in a chair every now and then glancing at Jason who was still outside. So much had happened to them, and in such a small amount of time as well. Everything seemed so surreal now that he thought about it. Zack sighed before looking outside again to see two police cars pulling up. Just the sight made his heart jump in his chest. "Dad!", he said almost excitedly. Luther looked over and then smiled, "Thank god!"

Samantha came running out of the car to give Jason a hug, her voice shaky. "I'm so sorry!?!", she whimpered. Jason didn't deny the hug, though he was silent looking away. Zack ran out and smiled giving his mother a hug, as well as ruffling his brothers on the head. Luther walked out glad to see everyone reunited with one another. Everything seemed so happy, under the circumstances. Zack gave Samantha a hug the moment she approached him. "I'm glad you are alright!", he said happy to see her. Samantha nodded with her head underneath his, her body shook which he guessed that she was still a little shaken up by everything that has happened.

Luther gave his wife a hug and kiss, as well as kissing his sons on the head. He was happy that his family was alright, if anything were to happen to them he would never forgive himself. The two officers had moved Nick inside the station, everyone soon followed after reuniting with one another. Jason leaned against the wall away from everyone, his expression rather void of emotion. Zack of course noticed this, he slowly approached his friend. Samantha of course watched a little worried, she felt bad for him. She really did, she also felt that he was probably grieving. Zack opened his mouth about to say something when he noticed something from the corner of his eyes. At that moment his body became cold.

"DAD!?!", he yelled out but no longer than a second later did the door open with a really hard slam. "Don't Move!?!", yelled a man dressed in all black with a assault rifle in his hands. Luther was stunned seeing the station get surrounded by black vehicles. "No way in hell...!?!", he groaned before going stiff. Malcolm, his boss and probably the creator of the yutyrannus walked inside with his arms crossed over his chest.

"This has gone on long enough.", spoke Malcolm giving everyone a harsh looking glare. "I suggest you give up or do you wanna die?", he scoffed a bit in laugher. "You son of a...!?!", before Jason could finish his words was he hit in the head with the bottom of the rifle. Samantha shivered very much terrified and worried. "Malcolm!?! You can't do this!?!", spoke Luther serious. Malcolm merely stood and watched as everyone was being handcuffed, "I think I can do this."

Luther glared before looking to everyone with worried eyes. Shannon had herself in front of her children, Thomas and Will were confused and scared as they watched their mother get handcuffed. Zack wasn't able to fight back on account of his arm. "This is not right!?!", yelled Luther struggling to fight back. Everyone was being moved outside of the station, the sheriff glared. "You made that monstrosity!?!" Malcolm scoffed with a smug look.

"I don't believe that concerns you.", Malcolm replied before pointing to a large black van. "Put them in there." Luther struggled much like Nick's father who was kicking and cussing. It wasn't long however before he was hit in the head by the back of a gun. Luther winced and glared, before he could say anything was he punched in the stomach by Malcolm. "Ugh...!?!" Malcolm scoffed at Luther with a fed up look.

"If only you had listened to me. If you had you wouldn't be in this mess.", sighed Malcolm before shrugging with a look that said it all. He didn't care, the only thing he cared about was money and that dinosaur. Luther was thrown into the back of the van very roughly, when he moved to sit up did flinch seeing his wife get thrown in. Zack groaned feeling the hard floor of the van. "Malcolm what are you doing!?!", yelled Luther very much impatient and angry. Malcolm obviously ignored him as he watched his men put everyone in the back of the van. Jason glared at Malcolm with blood streaming from the side of his head, "You are going to pay for this!?!".

Samantha looked to Zack worried about his injury, before looking to Jason. Shannon looked to Luther worried, she soon softly moved to her children who were crying in fear. The sheriff looked to everyone making sure they were fine, the two officers were sitting in the back. All there weapons were removed from them, they had nothing to defend themselves. Malcolm smiled obviously enjoying the look on everyone's face, "You all should feel special!?! You got to see the secret and now sadly I will have to kill you!"

Samantha flinched at his words, Zack looked surprised for he knew that they would due to the fact that they tried too. He meant every word. Luther looked helpless only cause he felt it. It was the worse feeling in the world. As soon as Nick's unconscious body was placed into the van did Malcolm laugh in his dark humor. "Oh I know! You guys can help me get my beloved creation back!"

"Like hell!?! We are going to kill that abomination and then I'll kill you!?!", hissed Jason with a venomous look in his eyes. Malcolm laughed right out not at all threatened. "Oh please!?  Like you could? Besides, I meant what I say! I'm going to use you all as bait!?  It's not every day that you get eaten by a dinosaur!"

Luther swallowed hard hearing those words. "You're out of your god damn mind!?!", he spat out at Malcolm. Jason merely spat in Malcolm's direction. Malcolm laughed as he stepped away from the van as he waved almost cheerfully, "See you all real soon!"

The screeching doors of the van were slowly closing, and before everyone's eyes was there darkness.
