Fear

Luther watched the yutyrannus with a long but hard look. Everything happened so quickly much like how he expected it would. The animal was so unpredictable especially in its need for food. The yutyrannus was hunting and no known weapon could stop it. Bullets hit the animal and it still did nothing to it. Its hide must of been tough and along with the full body of feathers, it was hard to tell if they were actually hurting it. Luther looked around desperately trying to find something that he could use. Malcolm's men who worked for him seemed to be scattering after dealing with the beast. Some were still firing at the beast which didn't seem to help the situation all that much. If anything it made the dinosaur madder, when it is angered it seemed to unleash its fury from what he had seen.

Screams were still coming from the few men who were attacking the animal. Everyone else seemed to be scattered around the abandoned park, it was a serious moment and all that everyone cared for was finding cover. Jason was running around by himself, his focus was on the beast who killed Bridget. Though, he was glad that the guy who made the animal died he still wasn't happy. That animal needed to die as well. Nick's father had apparently found a car that was abandoned by the guys who fled in a hurry. Nick was in the car breathing hard and was trying to calm down from all that happened. The sheriff was putting the kids into the car along with Shannon.

"I'm getting out of here.", groaned Nick's father. "You're free to tag along." Nick frowned looking to his father, "What about everyone else?" The sheriff frowned before giving a curt nod, "I will make sure everyone else is okay. You get the kids out of here."

Shannon looked worried before speaking softly, "Please help them!" The sheriff nodded before turning around back into the fray. Nick's father started the car and drove off with his eyes focused on the road. The yutyrannus had its eyes on a man who fired at it, the man quickly turned around after his gun jammed after firing several shots. The sounds of terror and fear filled up the cold air, it seemed to carry out onto the cold winds. Jason watched the animal with his eyes full of anger and revenge. It is quite overwhelming to feel that burning rage, most say revenge was never the answer. It was scary though, feeling that need for revenge not at all caring about the outcome. Who was the real monster?

Jason took a hold of a rusty bucket and he shifted behind a few things. He picked up on a few barrels of what he hoped were gasoline. Luther hid behind a few cars before picking up on a car that had his kids and wife in it. He smiled happy to see Shannon and his two young children leave the area. He knew then that he had to get Zack, Samantha, and Jason out of here. "Dad!", he heard a voice and knew who it was.

"Zack!", he spoke out running over to his son who was laying low behind a storage container which was rusted and out of shape. Samantha was there as well and she smiled happy to see Luther. "Nick's father took Shannon and the kids back to safety. Where's Jason?", asked Luther and he frowned seeing Zack point somewhere. "He went that way and I haven't seen him since!" Luther frowned before nodding, "Stay close to me."

Zack nodded as he followed his father with Samantha close behind. The yutyrannus roared loudly as it flipped over a rusty vehicle trying to get a hold of a man fleeing. The beast stopped as its head shifted to seeing movements from the side and smelling a faint scent of blood. Luther looked back and he flinched looking serious, "Move!?!"

Luther ran while pulling Zack and Samantha along, his gaze looking back to the yutyrannus following close behind. However, the yutyrannus roared in annoyance once feeling something pour over its body. Luther hid behind a container with Zack and Samantha and blinked in surprise seeing Jason standing on top of the worn out building. "Jason!?!"

Jason smirked in a nasty way before reaching into his pocket pulling out his lighter that he hid very well from everyone. Lighting the lighter and dropping it did the yutyrannus go up in flames. The beast let out a monstrous sound that ripped the air sharply. The fire hugged its massive frame which left the beast turning and twisting in its desperation to rid itself of the flames. Luther watched in surprise before a look of terror made way to his features. "JASON!?!"

Jason blinked before his eyes went wide, the yutyrannus ran frantically by the building that Jason stood up on. The animal knocked into the building making it unstable. "Shit!?!", screamed Jason as he fell to the ground along with a few debris from the building that the yutyrannus ran into. Zack watched in shock while Samantha cried. Luther quickly moved over to where Jason had fallen, he moved the debris and managed to pull him up. Luther blinked seeing the sheriff run over and helped him out in picking up Jason who was slowly recovering from the fall. Luther looked him over before looking up fast to the yutyrannus who stopped and looked toward them with its fangs visible in a ferocious snarl.

The cold made it hard for the fire to remain burning upon the yutyrannus, the flames were weakly burning on its body. Its body was burnt due to the fire, most of its brown plumage was gone having been burnt away from the fire. Luther frowned before pushing Jason along. "Go now!" Jason moved along with the sheriff but the sheriff stopped once he saw the officer point over. "We have more barrels over here!" The sheriff nodded and he looked to Luther who looked at him concerned. The sheriff patted Luther's shoulder before running to where the officer was. The yutyrannus roared loudly picking up movement close to it which was the sheriff. The sheriff yelled to the officer to get the barrels ready. Luther blinked before frowning as he looked to Jason who looked pissed off.

"How the hell do we kill it!?!", he hissed out in bitter annoyance. Luther looked around before saying, "We can kill it. We just need something a lot stronger." Jason frowned looking around before they both jumped. The yutyrannus charged at the sheriff before snarling loudly to a metal container blocking its way. The officer kicked over the barrels which had gasoline in them, it was easy to say that those men must of brought them there for their vehicles. A few barrels of gas should be enough to end the animal or so the sheriff thought. One barrel did damage but not enough. The officer was pushing over the barrels making a massive pool of gasoline form on the floor. The aroma of gas was overpowering as more gas was poured over onto the floor. The sheriff had his lighter as he hid away out of reach of the yutyrannus who tried hard to reach him with its unforgivable maw.

The sheriff lighted the lighter and quickly looked around and threw it. The lighter fell short of the pool of gasoline which made the sheriff groan loudly. The officer saw the lighter and he ran over to retrieve it but stopped as the yutyrannus turned around having picked up the scent of something strange. The beast snarled loudly at the officer who stood there before quickly running away. The lighter still laid where the sheriff had thrown it. Jason glared before running which caught Luther's surprise. "Jason what are you-!", Luther was caught up in his words when Jason replied, "I'm ending this!?!"

Jason grabbed the lighter and before he could do something did he slip and fall on the gasoline on the floor. The yutyrannus roared loudly about to chase the officer before hearing something fall to the floor. The beast turned its head sharply to Jason who slowly stood up and he blinked and flinched seeing the dinosaur look toward him. Zack screamed loudly in fear of losing another friend. Samantha cried while screaming, "RUN!?!"

The yutyrannus charged toward Jason with its maw opened for all to see. Luther watched in shock, Jason glared at the animal as he lifted up his hand with the lighter and lighted it. "Come get me ugly!?!"

The lighter was then thrown, everyone watched in complete and utter fear to what was going to happen next.
