Darkness was one of the worst things in the world, it made the mind panic not knowing what is to come. The van started up a while ago which meant that they were on the road. Luther looked to be having a hard time with his thoughts. Everyone's features were dim and could be faintly seen due to how dark it was in the van. "What are they going to do to us?", asked Thomas still very much scared. He was young and didn't fully know what was happening, Will seemed to be softly sobbing though he tried his hardest to act like a big boy. "I don't know but I won't let them hurt you.", spoke Shannon giving her children a motherly look.

Zack softly spoke up, "I'm with Mom on that one!" For a moment there was a comfortable feeling no matter how small. It was soothing to have family around, it would be a different story if someone was alone though. Being alone and dealing with something so severe like the situation they were in would be a different story. Fear does crazy stuff to people, it could even cloud peoples judgements. Luther was next to speak up, "We will get through this together."

That is all that can be done now. Boosting everyone's spirits is better than thinking negatively. The sheriff nodded though it could be barely seen, "I assure you children, if they try to do something to you they got to get through me. It is my duty to protect everyone so I intend to do that." Luther lightly smiled feeling better, knowing everyone was going to help the other was a good thing. It could actually be the difference between life and death. Time was hard to tell especially in a van with barely little light coming from the van doors. Samantha seemed to be lost in thought though Zack broke her out of it. He nudged her softly and she lightly jumped but smiled to him.

Tension was very light in the van, the little bit of words everyone shared seemed to have made the situation a bit better if that was possible?

However, when the van came to a stop seemed to make everyone's blood grow cold. The tension that was light earlier seemed to have fully engulfed the back of the van. When the sound of footsteps soon appeared only to stop at the van doors made everyone anxious. It was one feeling than another in such a short amount of time. How everyone wished it would cease!

The doors opened letting light from the outside in, the light practically blinded everyone. No one knew how long it had been. "Get out one at a time.", commanded a man in full body suit of armor with a shotgun in his hands. Luther stepped out and then Samantha, the place they were taken to was a place that they have not seen before. The words that described it best was a large building left behind to take the harsh weather conditions. A few worn down cars here and there. Pretty much a abandoned building with stray cars and rusted metal storage containers littered in random places. The man pointed to where they needed to go and of course they followed. Luther seemed worried now, as he looked around there wasn't any other houses around. They were in the middle of nowhere alone with Malcolm and those who work for him.

Nick had woken up though he was still dizzy headed, these people even forced him to walk as well which he didn't appreciate. "H-Hey what the hell!?!" Zack looked bugged but he was pushed forward roughly which made him grunt. "Keep moving! Form a line!" Samantha looked worried for everyone as they were made to stand in a line. The cold weather and wind hugging each and every person. Malcolm laughed clearly enjoying this, "Woo!?! Doesn't this get your blood pumping!?!"

Jason scowled in such disgust and hatred to the man who did all this. "Shut the hell up!?!" Malcolm laughed obviously not bothered, "You know what I like you! You get to get eaten first!" Luther blinked and glared, "Like that animal cares!?! It is going to kill everyone! Why can't you stop this!" Malcolm glared not pleased by those words, "I don't listen to you besides I'm more interested in seeing how it kills you all!"

As if sickeningly on cue did the sound of something massive approached. Luther looked over his shoulder to see the prehistoric animal slowly approaching with its nostrils flaring with each big inhale. Malcolm laughed, "I'm so glad it followed us! I knew it loved the smell of blood!" Samantha quietly sobbed hearing the beast coming closer and closer. Nick looked to his father beside him with a face full of terror. Zack couldn't believe this was happening, his eyes were looking everywhere. Malcolm grinned as he looked up to someone standing on top of the worn down building. "Make sure you tranq it after it kills them alright!?! I don't want it running away again!" The sheriff looked around before looking to the two officers beside him in a glance.

The yutyrannus stopped walking as it stood watching everyone with blazing eyes. It's massive form moving up and down with each breath it took. Shannon didn't dare look back though she looked to her children who stood beside her. Anything could happen now, it was only a matter of time before it would happen. Luther saw people around who worked for Malcolm, there really wasn't much they could do and if they did do something it wouldn't be long till they were shot down. What a bad position to be in.

Malcolm laughed as he looked to the side snapping his fingers impatiently. "Someone get the bucket!?! Drop it on his head will ya!?!" His finger pointed to Jason and from how he was acting he didn't feel like he was in any danger. He was wrong, they all were. A man came running toward Jason with a bucket of blood as directed by his boss. In a split of a second the yutyrannus snapped and charged in its blind rage to consume the blood it smelt. "RUN!?!", screamed Luther.

Panic and pure on chaos ensued, the man with the bucket screamed throwing the bucket in a random direction in his fright. "Don't shoot it we will lose it again!?!", yelled a furious Malcolm the moment he saw his men draw their weapons. Luther frantically ran and was fast to get behind a metal container. He was fast to lead everyone else to where he was. Zack fumbled on his feet as he used his hand to pull Samantha with him. Gunshots fired despite the order the men were given. The yutyrannus roared in its rage, hunger seeping from its maul as drool fell from the sides of its mouth. Each gunshot hit the yutyrannus though it seemed as the beast was ignoring them as the bullets hit it.

It was driven by the blood and it was chasing everyone and everything that moved. Malcolm was screaming loudly in his rage, "You guys are worthless!?!" The yutyrannus turned its cranium to Nick who had fallen his eyes went wide as he struggled to get up. Nick's father quickly ran back to save him, however he stopped seeing one of the officers run up and push Nick up. The yutyrannus charged at them roaring in such a monstrous way. It practically shook the ground. "Nick!?!", yelled his father when he saw the officer push Nick only to be grabbed by the jaws of the yutyrannus.

Nick was beyond shocked but he got up and limped to his father, who grabbed him and pulled him away. The yutyrannus literally threw the officer to the side the moment it felt a bullet hit its shoulder. The sheriff focused on getting both children and Shannon to safety, the other officer looked to the side and grabbed a gun dropped by one of the men who fled. The officer fired one shot after another at it before turning and running. The yutyrannus turned its sights on him now, unaware of this though Malcolm came out from hiding as the officer ran by. "You will pay dearly for this!?!"

The moment Malcolm turned to look from where he was coming from did he see his creation running at him. "AHHH!?!", Malcolm screamed as he tried to run but was soon scooped up by the yutyrannus. A loud but dull sound of fangs sinking into Malcolm's body were heard. Malcolm made a horrifying sounding noise as he felt being bitten into. Malcolm's men were still firing at the yutyrannus, though the dinosaur didn't seem to care as it chomped down on Malcolm again. Malcolm's head and chest were shifted into the chomp as his creation decided to eat him first.

Luther watched only to look away while shaking his head, even so they still had to deal with the yutyrannus. Jason grinned seeing Malcolm get devoured, "Serves you right." Gunshots continued to fire, many men who worked for Malcolm all were turning and fleeing after seeing their boss get killed. Some remained however firing at the beast though there was a good chance that they will turn and run the moment they ran out of bullets.

Luther looked around in panic after getting rid of the image of his boss being killed. His focus soon turned on the yutyrannus as he watched it look around for its next victim.

How can he kill it!?!
